Just took a look at this. It says HCT have bases in Fulham and Wandsworth. Are these used or is there any chance HCT might bid for TfL routes in this area? And it says HCT operates in South East England aswell. HCT Group has a cluster of operations in West and South Yorkshire, as well as an operation in and around Bristol. It also has the franchises for bus services on the Channel Islands of Jersey and Guernsey. hctgroup.org/at_a_glance

...and I believe operating from local authority depots (certainly the case for Wandsworth, and Ken & Chel, unless changed recently)

Have more depots for TFL work. Perhaps HCT could hypothetically share JE with RATP's tour buses, near their minibus depots. Should minibuses ever be withdrawn, they could use those depots for TfL work.

Does anyone know what replaced 1220 at HK for the W5 or did it have a PVR reduction? Swapped with one of DAS1/1300 or DAS2/1301 which was allocated to the 385 before the tender results of the 385 was announced last year. Might have been reported already - Noticed that 1300 & 1301 have dropped out of the HCT fleet - not sure when but a shame ...................... always enjoyed picking these up on the 309 occasionally. Belay that - I was talking shoite ................

1266 YX17NWG had a bad accident with a set of railings just outside Mount Vernon Hospital whilst on rail replacement.
From the extent of the damage I think possibly there was speeding involved and then the lights changed and driver tried to stop and swerve to avoid hitting a vehicle coming from the other side.

Everyone looked fine, the police came not long after and then the bus was removed form the railings and parked at a bus stop. I have no idea what happened after.
