Hope passengers are ok. Don’t get it. Why speed especially not knowing the area? Everyone looked fine, the police came not long after and then the bus was removed form the railings and parked at a bus stop. I have no idea what happened after. Bus got towed a few hours later. Will not comment here what happened, but speeding wasn't the issue. Driver was shaken but alright and made it to Northwood on a NIS bus

Something that I've never seen before. W5's 1750 has 'AG' as Depot code by the offside cab window.

Aren't they too long for the W5? No, there is a single door version of them in 8.7m just like the ones that are due to enter service on the 322.

Aren't they too long for the W5? The Switch Metrocity short length is 8.7m, 0.2m shorter than the sole 8.9m Enviro 200 allocated to the W5

Funny enough, I literally had a conversation about this few days ago. They will be receiving electrics and will move to AW. It should be the Metrocities similar to the 322. Don’t expect them to appear anytime soon/transfer to AW as still waiting on Abellio’s order to be fully done. Gone for the Metrocities as only option available. ADL are in the process of designing a smaller version but could be next year or two before it’s made.

Also there would be no rush to get them in service anyways as its a retain.

I'm not sure if there's sufficient space available at AW as last I heard the garage is full up. Unless they plan to move a route to HK such as the W16?

Well when I spoke to the manager in charge of tendering etc, I asked about where they will put the chargers at HK but then was told due to power source already at AW, they will transfer the W5 there with changeover point still yet to be decided between Archway or Haringey Superstores. Drivers will use a ferry bus, or a bus already running dead, such as when I used to do 139 lates, some duties you would carry 3-4 drivers to GGSN.
