CT Plus has surprisingly gained 13 of ELBG's old bendies. They're coded as MCA1-13 (ex-23018, 23020, 23007, 23014, 23010, 23017, 23009, 23025, 23026, 23013, 23011, 23016 and 23023). Info from 'Buses' magazine. I wonder what they're gonna be used for? These 13 ex Selkent bendies and re-numbered MCA1-13 are part of the internal Olympic Park contract with the associated E&HCT. They're are in white livery and have no connection with TfL.

a clue maybe will be if the 28/31/328 get a refurb. If they dont within the next year or so then the Olympic buses may go there. I dont think they will though go on to those routes.

Well I did see the W13 working today, so I presume it didn't go ahead. Or, maybe there were still buses working but not the usual amount.

From what I understand only the 388 has disruption. Well I did see the W13 working today, so I presume it didn't go ahead. Or, maybe there were still buses working but not the usual amount.

But i didnt see any buses at Leytonstone in the afternoon I definatly saw some DEs working the route this morning and also at lunchtime at the Woodford Wells terminus. Also saw a President on the route, with 388 on the rear blinds.

I tried out route 385 (Chingford Station to Crooked Billet) today, and they are operating ex- Abellio London MPD 8030 BU05HFG, not their P-reg Dart as I suspected.
It looked very smart, with refurbishment inside and out. The handles were yellow, but looks like they kept the Travel London red handle bars for the priority seats, which is a good idea. The engine sounded a bit rough though.
I think its good proof that more buses need to be refurbished, and maybe even get second hand buses, rather than having brand new buses all the time.

Looks like there hasn't much news lately on what type of SD would go on the W5, seeing that it's gonna go to CT Plus next month.

I don't know what type of SDs CT Plus will be using either :/ Changing the subject slightly, CT Plus have applied for planning permission to have a depot at Crooked Billet, Chingford on the former car park of the Walthamstow Stadium opposite the Stadium. I'm pleased about this, as if it is built it will be the closest bus garage to where I live.

I Read about this on the Local Waltham Forest Guardian, i'll see if i can retrieve the article, i've been meaning to post it but kept forgetting with January Modules rapidly approaching. www.guardian-series.co.uk/news/wfnews/8743294.CHINGFORD__Stow_car_park_could_be_turned_into_bus_depot/
