Just seen it on LVF on the 26. Seems a bit odd to give it a temporary number plate when the 69-reg Cities are already registered. Buses get given an Id for iBus and it seems that the 2 Id's (The TMP one and the actual 2548/9 one) haven't been merged on LVF yet, nothing to do with physical reg plates 2548 is on 388 2549 is on 26

Did anyone see how the 388 coped at London Bridge in the peak this evening? I could imagine that probably struggled as well.

The "Bus News" bulletin of 19th October on the LondonsTransport Yahoo Group reports that 2548 and 2549 may be re-registered to E17 HCT* and E20 HCT respectively. These registrations are currently carried by two coaches.
* route 20 serves the E17 postcode area.

Any report on how 2548/49 fair compared with the YX19, SN16 and 66 lots? Haven't been on 2548 or 2549 yet, I can imagine those two are similar to the YX19 batch on the 20, but I have seen 2548 on the 20 this morning and that has USB charging ports fitted so I'm assuming that 2549 also fitted with USB charging ports.

I've seen both on the 26 this week at Waterloo whilst on stand they don't look any different to me aside from being 119kgs heavier (than the 16/66regs, haven't seen the 19regs in person) at 11844kgs.

I presume they have the dark red plastic in the same places as the 19-reg ones, I certainly think the dark red plastic around the screen on the upper deck suits the cities much better than the cream white plastic.

HEA1 has been renumbered 2600 and apparently the DASs and OSs will be renumbered as well

HEA1 has been renumbered 2600 and apparently the DASs and OSs will be renumbered as well That's interesting wonder why they have decided in renumbering To presumably match the newer vehicles from 15 reg onwards which received the current fleet numbering system. I believe when CT Plus first announced they were switching to a number only based system, they said the existing fleet will be renumbered in due course though they've been helped by the fact a lot of the older fleet are no longer operated by them.
