Avatar Pic

This is going to make me sound quite fick and all but since I joined this group I have wanted to put an avatar picture below my name so I can easily be recognized. Unfortunately no matter what I do I can't attach a picture. I have tried pasting links from websites and my own site but this doesn't work, then I tried photobucket and pasted the avitar url link in and it still doesn't work.
What am I doing wrong?
Is it the picture that I am trying to upload too big or something?
Any constructive non abusive comment appreciated.

Hmm I don't know... what you're trying to do seems right to me... maybe it's something to do with your avatar size (as opposed to image file size); your avatar must be 100x100 pixels or less.

Let us know if you're still getting the same problem

make sure it is a .jpg rather than any other picture format.

No problem Come to think of it I think it was Rob who was on the ball with the solution there as only now I remember having a similar problem with avatars on "The Other Side" ;D
