Hello all
As current official World record holder for visiting all 270 London Underground stations in the fastest time, which currently stands at 16 hours, 44 minutes and 16 seconds, I invite you all to the annual Zone 1 challenge 2010 (of which I am organising this year).
The aim of the Zone 1 Challenge is pretty simple, to arrive at or depart from all 64 LU stations that make up LU fare zone one in the fastest time possible using LU trains.
The date of the challenge is Friday 4th June 2010 meet from 1130. So if you are interested in having some fun (and meeting other like minded people) on a dull Friday afternoon then please contact me via PM to register yourself for the event.
Deadline to register is Friday 28th May and once registration closes you will receive a PM back from me detailing the exact meet up station and point and a few explanations of what the day is likely to involve.
I hope you rise to the challenge that is the Zone 1 Challenge. For any further queries please contact me direct or post below.

When did you take the record from that nasty specimen Stephen 'priv thief' Karahan, late of this parish?

Hello Bighat
I (and my team) became the new Tube Challenge world record holders on the 14th December 2009 (beating the time held by Mr. karahans team by 28 minutes). I got the certificate from Guinness World records about a month and a half ago.

And a great pity too. The sooner Steven 'priv thief' Karahan's name is removed from the records, the better! He really did bring the name of transport enthusiasts to a low point by his antics subsequent to his 'smug' achievement and self publicity. However, glad to see it backfired on him big style!
