I find this a bit stupid! This station is part of the Network rail therefore you are allowed to film. Why do the LU need to stop him

All too common with all the uninformed staff. its actually started being allowed again after all the complaints about it and the way they are being treated. Sometimes I've actually had to tell staff how to do their jobs, one notiable example was at heathrow. there are 'security' and they tried to stop me at the newly built at the time Terminal 5. I had pictured there many times before without incident. thing is on that day he decided to stop me to which I refused. he kept saying i'll contact my supervisor (notice he didnt say manager ) and I said go ahead. at that point he somehow got police involved. Then he came back off the radio and didnt say anything to me

I've filmed using the iPhone at Northumberland Park on a number of occasions - Perhaps as there's very little staff it's never been a problem ;D but at Limehouse, they were getting jumpy and eyeballing me. I mean, when was the last time you met a surveyor from Al Qaeda? I think the stuff they say about taking photos and terrorism is too extreme. Thankfully, the Tories are looking to scrap this stupid law introduced by the former administration

I find this a bit stupid! This station is part of the Network rail therefore you are allowed to film. Why do the LU need to stop him The only sensible photography restrictions on LU is that you are not allowed to use flash which is reasonably sensible and that you need a permit for commercial work Under Labour photography was pretty much banned anywhere. No photographing buses or train or police or in schools or in parks or on the beach well at least not if any children were around. Hopefully all that will now change

I find this a bit stupid! This station is part of the Network rail therefore you are allowed to film. Why do the LU need to stop him Actually the information that is given to staff is that filming is allowed without a permit so long as the persons filming are only "passing through", unless the Film Office have issued a pass (valid for a year I believe). The Station Supervisor (although minus tie!) was rather polite and did offer to give him the number to contact the people that make this strange filming rule up - Then the VT ends with f**k You [LU], how pleasant! If I were the SS at that station, then they wouldn't be allowed back, permit or no permit. LUL are the SFO and it is private property, so they can do what ever they want. I find this a bit stupid! Hopefully all that will now change The problem with the Anti Terror and SOCA laws is that they were rather complicated and abused. It was never illegal to photograph police or security services, unless it would be of use to terrorists.
