Nah, at Tottenham they actually play football on match days! It's not that, it's the fact that the Lane hosts football fans on match days, not Corporate Investors ;D Cheers for the info there Chazaroo! Should've have guessed that BE did the maintenance on them as they're in fantastic condition, as were your DP's! Explains why I see them running back and forth along the A13 now though ;D Must be something to do with the expertise of the Engineering Management at BE, one of whom i know is an ex BX running shift manager and a top bloke at that.

Does anyone know if Stagecoach London are getting the extra buses for the 25X and 158 for tomorrows strike from Ensign or just getting other stagecoach subsidies to lend buses.

I hope that Barking is still open for the District line tomorrow, just like the last strike.

I heard the extra buses on the 25X and 158 were subcontracted from ELBG (cause they didnt have enough buses) to Ensign, but now ELBG is Stagecoach there i would think there wouldnt be any need to do that. The same would be at London General where they didnt have enough buses for the extra 88s so Metrobus did them.

the 174-- tridents were operated by ensignbus as they had a A4 piece of paper just under the via blinds on the side saying something like "this bus is hired from ELBG"

Half of the vehicles half "On Hire to East London Bus Ltd", company legals of Thameside. Wouldn't mind but half of them have East London Bus Ltd with the address anyway!!!

I had fun trying to get in using the 174 AND 173 Getting home was better thanks to the c2c at Barking, but still a bloody nightmare because the District Line stations at my end were all shut!! Oh well, at least some people find Tube strikes fun!!

Oh well, at least some people find Tube strikes fun!! Getting to uni today was pretty straight-forward for me today with the District line running decently. But as soon as I made my way home via the Jubilee and Northern lines, I was completely astonished when I found out that a vast majority of the Piccadilly line was down apart from the Heathrow branch and the last 3 stations on the northern portion. The interchange passages at Finsbury Park were sealed off as a result.

What a great day to travel! ;D 4th strike in nearly 3 months, cant the LU ever sort themselves out over the cuts How was everyone's day? Dreadful... Took me nearly 3/4 hour to get to Bank this morning, as i had to let the first 8 go as it was full up to the rim. Second number 8 came which was 18234 the driver had a bit of an issue when passengers where coming in from the rear doors while people where squashed at the front like sardines (aka me.. ;D) Got to Euston Station at 10am was an hour late so I thought no point going into college so I done a few iBuses for the day... ;D The good thing is least the heating was on the buses today at full blast...
