Indeed - I think that I have more or less given up telling people this. ah is this the same reason for the 320 being changed to Three Two O? or will it be a permanent announcement It was reported on another group that all of these are an error, and they will return to their former announcements soon... It will be three-twenty, and two-one-four etc.

Thanks for your answer, beaver. Fascinating how such a small thing can spark such big feelings!

And the end of the day, does it matter how the numbers are said, as long as the system works and its clear, that all I'm worried. Sorry to disappoint all the I-Bus enthusiasts out there but I only care for it as a passenger, not as an enthusiast

Sorry to disappoint all the I-Bus enthusiasts out there but I only care for it as a passenger, not as an enthusiast Couldn't agree more, though I think that comes from our travels outside of London where, shall we say, information isn't as readily available as here. With iBus, all that matters is that when you use journey planner, the stop names on there match up to those on iBus so you can get to where you're going!

was on the 337 today and its on diversion for a while. As we left East Putney Stn stop is announce Putney Station, this bus is on diversion after this stop. I have never seen that before. Norminally as you leave the line route (eg in this case Put Stn) it would say 'this bus is on diversion'. Its much better to announce it before you get to the last stop on the official route.
