Thanks jack for the video. You went one better and got the perfect driver for it ;D Some points I like to make... Looking at the clip, you can see the trouble with bendy buses. You just about get the opportunity to overtake and then the bendy moves off from the stop. Its only then the passengers see your bus This is evident on clip 1.02 Clip 3.32 - Van hogs the bus lane and stops me from getting past the traffic light Clip 3.41 - Bus was early so waited at the stop Clip 4.36 - Bus enters croxted road. This road shows who the real drivers are! You either give way to all traffic or you carry on regardless. Its hard to judge but you can see that this driver gets through with no problems ;D There were three examples of bad driving (from other drivers, of course!) while I was on this particular road. Can you spot them? Clip 5.00 - Bus enters south croxted road. The gap between the parked cars and the oncoming traffic is very tight but I just manage to get through. Clip 5.14 - I departed gipsy hill bus stop and didn't stop till crystal palace. That very rarely happens, which is why its my favourite part of the vid ;D I also looked at your vids for the 69 and 230. The 230 is definately the more interesting route there. The video of the 69 has a better driver. Once again, thanks you jack for the request. I already joined your channel so I look forward to more of your video clips

Very enjoyable journey and it was a great shame we didnt relisase each other until later that evening! After the 3, i went on to do another Abellio route, the 157, which will be posted soon Thanks! ;D

Whilst I don't normally view videos of buses on YouTube, I did take a peek at your 157 clip... found it quite interesting actually. Seeing Norwood Junction and Selhurst for the first time (never been to those places), and then from Croydon onwards through Wallington, Carshalton etc (recognised everywhere else having been passed through a few times). As someone said earlier these videos give a good outlook on places one may not have visited, so nice work Jack, keep it up

After the 3, i went on to do another Abellio route, the 157, which will be posted soon Thanks! ;D Im unsure of the speed I was doing, so I can't admit to that As you said, that speed check is faulty as it always give a smiley face regardless of the speed you're doing. So, technically, your correct. The other one I was referring to, which didn't affect me, is on clip 4.43. The black car in front of me, turned right at the traffic lights, right in front of the oncoming car. I was expecting them to collide into each other but they didn't. In fairness to the black car, the car on the other side didn't move until a few seconds after the lights changed to green. Regarding the car forcing me to the other side. Those are the type of hazards I thrive on ;D The car that stopped suddenly in clip 4.54 caught me by surprise. I used to those sorts of hazards in central london as the cyclists and taxis do it all the time. But not when going along croxted road.

I find driving the 157 route quite boring. Looking at this clip, it alot better than driving it. Even better than the video of the 3. My problem with the 3 vid is that im stuck behind those bendies I tried to get past them but I wasn't in a hurry. If i known you was on my bus then I would have done more to get past them or hanged back until they out of view. In saying that, If I know you was there, I probably would have taken my time in croxted road. As insert said, I enjoy looking at the other clips as it shows nice views of areas ive not seen before. Im doing the 157 on friday and im now aware of the traffic problems in strafford road as its down to one lane. So it helps too ;D

Would it be possible to get a clip of the el1/2. And I had forgotten that you sent me a message about single deck routes. To be honest I'm a rota driver and I don't actually have much contact with other drivers/routes now if I can help it. Better stick to the regular rabble lol.

In this case, im sort of glad you didnt know it was me because that driving down Croxted Road was amazing! Best part of the journey for me, added a extra thrill and the speed was brilliant ;D. I aslo noted that the bus you was driving had a bit of a sound similar to TE682, but after this section it stopped

I aslo noted that the bus you was driving had a bit of a sound similar to TE682, but after this section it stopped I think that bus was 9767. I didn't notice any noises coming out of that bus though. 9728 and 9740 were the two buses that were similar to TE682 but the engineers got rid of it. 9740 still has a little 'whine' noise. Haven't seen 9728 for a while now. There been lots of lessons learnt when driving along croxted road. Sometimes, im driving along, going round the bend only to see a lorry or another bus coming the other way, determined to hit you! There been one or two accidents there as well. Luckly, I been accident free for the last 3 years (touch wood) ;D
