VH45255-57 and VH45126-28 went to RP to cover the ADEs A bit simpler than I thought then, thanks. Final changes to allocations on routes 79, 326 & 423 are probably still having to wait until August. Isn't the 79 already confirmed to be using VH45298-VH45309. I think the 423 likely to get either VH45255-57, VH45126-VH45128 or the three Mk2 VHs allocated to the 139.

The 79’s VH’s have already moved back to BT for the route.

Are the DEs at EB just spares or allocated to 470?

Are the DEs at EB just spares or allocated to 470? I believe the plan was mentioned as: DE's allocated to the 470, releasing SDE's to the 463 releasing WS's to the 404 - one of the 404's SDE's has already moved to TV for the K1 temporarily.

Given that route 285 VHs were supposed to be converting route 79, I can't tell what has gone to RP to displace ADEs to Abellio. This must be contributing to the delay of the full double-decking of route 423. Furthermore, having to keep some DLEs on route 423 looks set to delay the release of more to route H11, meaning a few elderly DEs remaining on route 326 for a few weeks beyond the tender renewal on July 25th. VH45255-57 and VH45126-28 went to RP to cover the ADEs Although that is only 6 buses to replace 10 loaned out ADEs I think the balance were some of the spare ADHs Not really sure what the purpose of retaining the spare ADHs is, if they aren’t going to find a regular home.

Companies always need additional spare vehicles to cover for unforeseen circumstances, accidents, mechanical issues etc. I am sure that they will find a more permanent home in due course.

I believe two ADH's went into RP specifically to cover the 220 so if correct, they'd only need another 2 vehicles.

How many spare ADHs are there? There are 20 from 2010, and 28 surviving from 2013 = 48 (excluding newer batches) 6 are at Epsom, E3 has 25 for PVR of only 20, 266 uses a mix of ADE and ADH 3 of them (45006, 18, 18) haven’t been used for nearly 5 months so at least 3 spare currently, probably more when loaned ADEs return

I hear that the DEs and ADHs are replacing the DXEs is that true? ADHs wont be able to do the H37. Why would newish DXEs be replaced by buses that are almost 7 years older.
