Anyone know what happened to the buses that were used in Epsom on the ‘silver service’ routes once they were lost? Example YJ14BGK There’s still a few in the yard at NC, and I think David Smith posted on Flickr recently - a few are still at EB?

Fulwell seems to be gaining a number of older DEs Usually being used on 419 or 371 Wonder if there is any significance as 371 tender result is due this month, July
Now has 2008 built DE 20001, 10, 11, 12, 13, 17 FW also has 2007 built DE 20059, 62, 63, 65
There are 3 other 2008 built, out of use, that must be stored somewhere 20008, 14, 16

SPs 40094 and 95 also moved back to FW from AV around the same time but unsure if these are permanent or just temp transfers.

Example YJ14BGK Funny you mentioned that because I happened to come across YJ14BGK (OS20215) at Wallington Station today! It appears to be in use as a ferry bus, and its ticket machine and branding remains so it's still a part of the RATP fleet. Certainly took me by surprise when I saw it though. flic.kr/p/2jmwJf1

I said out of use, not withdrawn, Hard to justify repairing a 14 year old bus, if it might end up being sold for scrap Might have returned to HH - we won't be able to see it on LVF if it is at HH because the 698 doesn't track currently. 698 is indeed running, yesterday I passed its buses at Waggoners Roundabout going back to HH, SP40201 and another 10-reg SP.

Out of those SDE's that transferred from EB to TV though, only one of those is actually a loan, SDE20302 which is the 404's original bus. SDE20285 and SDE20286 should be permanent transfers so there shouldn't be anything covering them? What has happened though is that the two other buses allocated to the 404 (20295 and 20296) have been in regular use on the S3 over the last week with two of its MMC's seemingly VOR. The 404 meanwhile has seen a full WS allocation which busdryver did mention would happen.

It’s debatable which are more worn out the 07reg or 58reg DEs The latter are a few months newer, but got hammered whilst on the 285, and probably have higher mileage Having seen both on 371 (from outside, I’m not using buses currently) neither present an appealing image, they all have panels in various shades of red, where paint has faded and replacement parts are not matched to same fade levels. However it does suggest they are being patched up, which is good in some ways

RATP Dev and Comfort Delgro have joined up with Alstom to bid for the Grand Paris Express ( metro lines 16 & 17 ) Wouldn't this be automatically run by RATP, as with all existing metro lines?

Haha..yes indeed. An interesting combination though. RATP Dev retain the majority share in that collaboration. They may not even win it.

If this were really to happen, Arriva would feel very, very nervous in Harrow with only the 340.
