Aren't they still having a driver shortage? Only in West London as far as I’m aware of with the 235 as several buses are being curtailed to Hounslow Heath due to drivers not turning up on time. Although it seems to be a problem at FW tomorrow, yesterday at Kew bridge there were at least 4 65s in a row being curtailed to Brentford County Court. This was unlikely due to the match as there was no traffic All of London and all of the country has severe driver shortages. A 49 was abandoned at Shep Bush today because of no driver to take over. I was on a 89 (GAL route) about a month ago that had no driver to take over at BX garage, helpfully the driver dropped us (circa 30 pax on-board) at the shopping centre. Not a problem confined to one operator or locality.

Really surprised to see that many hybrids on the 23! The MetroDeckers have generally been pretty reliable on the 23 and C3. I had thought that once the 328 left TT then it would receive a full hybrid allocation, what happened to the rest of the WH’s? WH's never operated on the 328, are your talking about it's VH's instead?

I hope RATP can run the 125 successfully, today there was massive gaps in service waiting up to 30 mins for a bus To be fair it is only the second day of a new operator, that sort of performance this early on is actually very very common. I was in Stratford observing the 158 on its second day of Arriva operation and it was bordering hilarious. At Leyton station, Chingford bound at around 5pm the next bus was 25 minutes away, and then another 3 26 minutes away, so four buses in pretty much perfect convoy. Needless to say it’s improved significantly since then

Could this be the cause of the buses you saw curtailed?

I hope RATP can run the 125 successfully, today there was massive gaps in service waiting up to 30 mins for a bus Unfortunately it is issues with mechanical buses and the scheduling especially the live changeovers at Whetstone.

Second bus tonight is VH45133 and what a machine! This is definitely one of the quickest Euro 6 B5LH I have ever driven. It is making my second half very good and so far tonight I have enjoyed the quietness of the 125. So atleast my first experience of it is nice and quiet especially as I finish 0130.

The rest of the VH’s are stayed with TT at their LI for the 733 and 135.

Yes we are, however all duties today were covered for 125, i covered one of them so the gap is not due to driver shortages. Tuesday however, is when the fun starts. 3 buses also went mechanical today, 2 yesterday so that will be the likely reason.

Seems with BCEs slowly creeping into service, a handful of SPs seem to have stopped Don’t know if they will reappear or if won’t bother to fix them
SP 40045, 40052, 40069, 40073, 40092, 40184

Going up and down hills on the 125 will be quite a change !

Tuesday there are plenty of uncovered duties. i’m not too sure about the rest of the week but they are finding it very difficult to cover duties now, especially on 125 . The main reason for this is purely because there is not enough drivers willing to go on to the day or heavy rotas so it’s all the rubbish duties that are left and people are being asked to do rest days or swap their duties around to cover. I’m on 142 rota but have the entire week covering 125 instead.
