I had 51 reg SD33 on the S4 a few weeks back. Any ideas if it's also speed restricted? Seemed to get up to a fare pace going down through Sutton.

they may have been the batch from the S1 which i dont think were resticted because of Sutton Lane between Belmont and Banstead which is national limit. Always enjoy driving up there on driving lessons.

Will be a bit difficult for QL - will have to buy a lot of new blindsets for their existing DD fleet, surely?
Still has the 293 on it!

The 467 does have a lot of destinations with its school and hospital extensions at certain times. Probably easier to buy new blinds and add the other recent wins eg K5, 411, 641 at same time (I know the DDs are unlikely to work these routes, but does mean blinds can be transferred to a single deck in few years if required) obviously the new ones are Euro5, are the existing 10 (07-reg) Euro5 as they sound different to most buses ?

im surprised that only 2 are being ordered as that leaves only 1 spare for the 406, 418, 467 and school 463 during the peak hours. 1 spare for 3 routes and 1 school journey does not seem much when you think A has 6 DOE's spare for the 93, 151, 154. What happens if the fleet for the 406, 418 need to be refurbed on their next contract as potenially no buses could leave the garage for a period without there being no spares.

What happens if the fleet for the 406, 418 need to be refurbed on their next contract as potenially no buses could leave the garage for a period without there being no spares. The difference is the PVR's of the 93, 151 & 154 are much higher than the 406 & 418 which both have a PVR of only 4. Usually a route with this low a PVR won't have many spares and since the 467 only has a PVR of 2, they can easily work round that. The school journey only runs 1 journey each way I'm guessing. Most companies run a spare along a school route rather than ordering a vehicle that probably won't see much daylight. 'Snowman', DD01-10 are Euro 4, 4 Spd Voith - be interesting to see if Quality Line continue with the Voith gearbox.
