There a reason we can't have i-bus anounce the roads we actually drive down? eg someone asking me when do we get to Bastable Avenue and to his horror i say we just come out of it. Would be handy if the road we drive into is announced...could even be some comedy value in it "Bus now entering Queen Victoria Street"

Trouble is how does it work if you have 5 stops in London Road imagine the chaos. There a reason we can't have i-bus anounce the roads we actually drive down? eg someone asking me when do we get to Bastable Avenue and to his horror i say we just come out of it. How many stops there are in said London road don't matter But for someone finding there way to London Road at what point do they know they're in London Road?

Isn't that why side roads give them a clue. How many stops there are in said London road don't matter But for someone finding there way to London Road at what point do they know they're in London Road?

How about adding the road name which your on, onto the beginning of the stop name like they have done with some stops. for example my local stop "Merchland Road" changing it to "Avery Hill Road/Merchland Road"

Why do some stops have the name of the road they are on and then the side road and others have just the side road. On many occasions the stop on the opposite side of the road might just have the side road!

On the 314 theres one in Elmstead Lane has that, going towards Bromley its just "Mottingham Road" however going towards Eltham its "Elmstead Lane/Mottingham Road"

We got one like this on the 286. Towards Sidcup it's "Days Lane" but towards Greenwich the same stop is "Halfway Street, Days Lane"

The road you are travelling on being announced would be an excellent idea - some stops are adjacent or opposite a cul-de-sac which means nowt to a stranger but eg Walworth Road/East Street would be more useful than just East Street if the passenger wanted somewhere other than East Street.
