Distinctly Police white Do like the 5 series touring She's ex-police - one of my favourite pastimes aside from winding Vjaska up about DWs for the 243 ;D She was with Leicestershire Police Traffic Unit for 3 years... Still chipped and de-limited, so that's great Did the Rozzers leave any nasty surprises behind ;D Seriously, she looks quite nice mate

I know you're being facetious but I'll answer - the 03 reg's are my faves, but I'm referring to the DLA's on the 243, not anywhere else

Loool yes ;D @greeny, she is the 530d, running at 276 brake I don't get to be out much in the 'Police Car' during the week as I have a VW Caddy van I use for work (I'm sure it's the SDI as there doesn't appear to be a turbo), that's on the sluggish side... I've been thrashing it like a W3 bus driver just to get it to move... Hangar Lane is a nightmare in this van but surprisingly its stereo redeems itself

I'm at a university in Leicestershire full time studying Transport and Business Management. I also work for Virgin Trains at Euston on weekends as an on board CSA, though I cover the Service Manager grade on weekdays. This thread has made me realise how boring I am . I used to like riding on the night buses primarily for the thrash, rather than scratching routes. During the day when I have to travel, I generally avoid buses as much as possible as they're so slow. However, I quite like doing "rare" routes once such as the H3, 399, R10 and U10, doesn't include mobility/school routes. Also like doing routes running on the outskirts, such as the 375, 404, 434 and W9. Spent an afternoon/evening doing all of the R routes once. I'm also into the railways. I like to video the loud, aggressive sounding Class 37s and strive to get exclusive photographs of them within London. Sometimes I wonder if it's worth it - got a pair down in Heathrow Airport at 3am, but I had a thumping headache and ringing ears for days due to the seismic level of noise within the confined space. At the time, the compounds in the exhaust coming from the locomotive were sapping the limited oxygen available down in the tunnel, was a very acrid atmosphere and was burning out my eyes/throat. I also singlehandedly got the A5 (Edgware Road,) A406 (North Circular), several roads in the Brent Cross area and J1-2 of the M1 shut in one fell swoop as a consequence of trying to get a photograph at Staples Corner though I don't accept responsibility for that. I'm a junkie for revving engines, enjoy watching locomotives erupt and hearing them on full power. 37038 was my favourite because of the spasmodic bursts of power evident when opening up - www.youtube.com/watch?v=XGS4Saz_K8w . Locomotives "coincidentally" tend to erupt whenever I'm a few metres away, much like this - www.youtube.com/watch?v=o4GWaZYYDpYI have an interest in railway ticketing and any reward point schemes, got a bit of an eagle's eye where there's a deal to be had. I'm frequently up and down the country on the trains as I find it quite relaxing, often stepping in to assist fellow railwaymen who have problems with passengers. I usually take work with me to do. When I worked for London Midland, I also had free travel on Southern, Southeastern and Gatwick Express. I often did a circuit, Croydon (after I finished college) to Brighton, then the diesel train to Ashford, for the awesome high speed train to Stratford International. Always carried my laptop and A Level Maths books and invariably had to do an Olympic sprint from the station up to the shuttle bus, which was timed to leave at the same time as the train arrived. The driver never used to wait for the passengers. Fell for that the first time, but never again. Otherwise, I spend time with my girlfriend, going clubbing with my friends or out drinking/dancing 'til the small hours at university, often with a 9am lecture the following morning. I play the keyboard and when I have time, play on the PS3 I treated myself to at Christmas. Learning to drive a bus was a really fun experience and I occasionally drive a 2009 Corsa.
