Hey All
I was just wondering is Vauxhall Cross Station an actual Passenger station before it closed/disused or was it just one of them themes used for James Bond films?

Incidentally, it is common practice for LU stations that share with NR and Buses etc to have a 'totem pole' outside, showing the "brands" and station name. Vauxhall has its own one of these in the bus station, and the name is shown as Vauxhall Cross, and has the "going nowhere" arrows, LU and Buses roundels.

Aldwych tube station was used in Superman 4 where the man of steel stops the runaway train. Strikes me why a London tube station was used when a New York one was used in Superman I (1978) and III (1983).
The disused Jubilee line terminus Charing Cross Station was often used on The Bill as Sun Hill East (i think that's the exact name). The entrance to 'Sun Hill East' is actually Colliers Wood Station.

Aldwych station will soon be a musuem, was reading it in the Metro last month. Good idea me thinks
