I wonder if Sullivan’s Buses will buy or acquire second hand hybrids and electric buses for there future orders?

Seems a bizarre route, do many kids go to school in St Albans from this part of Enfield?

According to their website, Sullivan are acquiring extra buses for temporary increases to TfL school routes. These include 2 ex-Tower Transit E400s (SN13CGY/Z), with 5 other unspecified buses to follow. 7 buses are also being temporarily reallocated from Herts services to TfL work, these being the 2 TPLs, 3 54-reg ELVs and 2 56-reg E400s. No mention of what replaces them on Herts services, if anything.

Could the 398 potentially be withdrawn Post-COVID? It hardly picks up any usage since it's cut to Borehamwood and even the 84 could be rerouted to serve South Mimms & Clare Hall.

No mention of what replaces them on Herts services, if anything. Exciting to see the Tridents and B7TLs on TFL routes again. The awesome TPLs will once again be the oldest buses in TFL service. The 56 reg TEs (E55 and E56) have (fairly ugly) LED blinds fitted so will be curious to see what they look like on the TFL services. Could the 398 potentially be withdrawn Post-COVID? It hardly picks up any usage since it's cut to Borehamwood and even the 84 could be rerouted to serve South Mimms & Clare Hall. The route has been butchered over the years and had its frequency slashed several times over the years so it would be a shame but it wouldn't surprise me. The few times I've needed to get to Borehamwood, the frequency has put me off and its easier to Uber it instead. It could do with extending back to Watford, or at the very least Elstree and Borehamwood Station so that it serves the busy Shenley Road. All in all though, highly recommend for enthusiasts who enjoy old buses getting trashed in the A1!

All in all though, highly recommend for enthusiasts who enjoy old buses getting trashed in the A1! I think a very good reason why I reckon the 398 in such a short state is probably one of two reasons: 1. Heavy duplication of the 602 between Radlett & Watford 2. Traffic is horrendous on the A1 along the section it takes and Bignells Corner is probably a problem was well All in all, the 398 could always go back to Elstree and Borehamwood however it's still a very unattractive frequency and there's not much demand through South Mimms, so I think the 84 could cover that section around there & Clare Hall. To be honest, now that Thameslink goes to Potters Bar, I doubt there would be any demand to Elstree & Borehamwood anyway, and I think people have voted with their feet. Such a shame, but I think the 398 is a lost cause

Not previously reported is that Sullivan Buses restored the 30-minute Monday-Saturday daytime frequency on route 306 from 1st August. Sullivan Buses had been in discussions with Hertfordshire County Councils about removing temporary planters in Watford Town Centre so that buses could take stand time, improving reliability.

Why don’t Sullivan Buses have their logos on their TFL services? They’ve had the 217 for a couple of years now and they still don’t have their logo on them. It just looks a little unprofessional.

Heard something that their logo doesn't meet TfL guidelines so it's not on their buses Huh? Sullivan Buses would do well to put their fleet name on their buses, that is my only criticism They have their yellow logo but TfL didn't allow it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Allegedly it's not "smart enough", whatever that means. They've done the clever thing with 217s where they stuck the website URL at the front, but I don't understand why the singles didn't follow?? --- Meanwhile, looks the strike for RATP Epsom Quality Line will go forward www.rmt.org.uk/news/rmt-members-to-strike-at-surrey-bus-company/Lol @ the report for using a picture of the lost X26

AE11 was involved in accident while on the 298 this morning on Chase Side in Southgate as I was passing though there on E52 the other way towards Arnos Grove - Quick pic of the damage happened to AE11
Hopefully everyone onboard AE11 at the time including the driver are all ok.
