E58-59 & WVL2-4 are transferring to the non London fleet - they will receive LED blinds (or gain back in the case of the WVL’s) Was there any suggestion as to what might be replacing them? No but there are some DS’s spare so possibly those replace the WVL’s. The two E’s were Covid extras

In the latest tendering announcement (5th August) Sullivan Buses has retained routes 217, 617 and 629 all with existing diesel double-deck buses. PVRs unchanged. The new contracts commence on 2nd April 2022 (617/629) and 4th June 2022 (217). The 629's PVR drops from 2 to 1

Sullivan's currently have a school bus PVR of 27, if my quick count up off londonbusroutes is correct. Allowing for -1 on the latest results, PVR of 26, needs allocation of 29. Will look at the fleet list tomorrow and work it out.

Do you know which buses have been added for this gain

More a passing comment but surely the DEs (DE30/31) that are being withdrawn from the 950 would make good replacements to TB1 that has now passed the 20 year old age mark?
Also I do wonder what the replacement stock for the 950 will be, as I've said before the other 2 Abellio MMCs that were decommissioned would've made sense however they could always acquire some leased Dawson Rentals E200s in place of them, perhaps 2 from SPS?

Will the current buses on the 298 be used for the contract or will something younger and second hand will have to be used? Oh The current vehicles will be ten years old when the new contract starts in February 2022. Of course a different operator could bid with newer existing vehicles, or Sullivan Buses could source some that are going off-lease if any are available.
