Pretty sure it was advertised c.£30k same time.. £36k sounds a bit much! That's the transport industry for you. Virgin Trains offered £14.53 an hour basic for trolley dollying. The DLR PSAs and Virgin Trains guards start on £37k!

Pretty sure it was advertised c.£30k same time.. £36k sounds a bit much! Having been an RPI for buses up till July (now moved elsewhere in company), I can confirm established RPI's get 36.5K. The latest pay deal sees them getting an extra £1300 shift allowance this year on top of the 36.5k and a reduction from 36 to 35 hours a week. New entrant RPI's will be on 30K with pay related to their overall performance via reviews over 2 years (I'm led to believe). I'm guessing performance will be measured on security of convictions/sanctions issued rather than quantity?
