AN ELDERLY woman was seriously injured after a bus pulled away as she was getting off.
The 67-year-old was stepping off a bus in Hanworth Road, Hounslow, on Friday (May 25) at about 1.50pm when the driver pulled away.
The tourist, who was staying in Hounslow, fell and was caught by the rear wheel, suffering multiple fractures.
The injuries to her neck and leg were initially thought to be life-threatening and she remains in hospital.
A police spokesman said the incident was under investigation.
