All of what you have said above is incorrect Firstly the article title is misleading. He isn't "barred" from buses, that is just how he feels. Its also about one man, as opposed to men being banned! It is also the drivers who use the excuses such as the wheel size against the man

''...suing bus companies for £40million..."
What a chump. Good luck with that.

Im all for equal access wherever possible. But this is rediculous, all I can say is I hope this case gets thrown out as this will lead to private bus companies forced into bankruptcy, staff and services cut and the london bus service a laughing stock as im sure there would not be the funds available to take all services back in house albeit temporarily. Hopefully this guy is a member of this forum and sees this thread!

This is the alternative of what he should be using. Dial a RideTo have him banned from using London buses, they have to rule it in court, not by telling him that he is banned. He should be given alternatives not by banning him.

Going bit off topic but what would the man do with "£40million". he would spend it on a personal driver so he can get a lift from them. but alternatively, TFL should really reverse the ban and then give him Dial-A-Ride

I know this is a more up to date article, but we have an earlier thread under General Discussion regarding this topic, "wheelchaired Disabled man refused service on bus". Theres no point having two seperate threads discussing the same topic so I will be locking this thread and ask you all to direct future posts on this topic to the other thread, link below. Thanks.
