Oh watch out Boris!
Let me remember how long it's been since a union ever made a stand and changed long term plans.
Oh wait..

I don't agree with the driverless trains as after all it will mean more job losses.
Couldnt they just restructure the underground drivers pay as in bring it down?

Indeed, thats why I'm much more sympathetic towards bus drivers when they were voting to strike earlier this year.

Why do they need to strike as the workers sit down in the cab of the train whilst the passengers are sweating in a crowded train. Why do they need to strike as they dont have to deal with the problems in the saloon of the trains. Well the only far as they can go with the driverless trains is ATO where the driver have to do small amount of work to operate the ATO.
The driverless trains is not what i wanted from Boris. I just basically want 600 NB4L's from him. nothing more nothing less...
Good luck to the unions for calling in a day of strike so the workers will be lazy and not be able to work.

Nothing to do with laziness its about solidarity showing LUL that they are serious and mean business, automation of trains or driverless trains will eventually lead to job cuts loads of drivers loosing there jobs . I do honestly think though strike or no strike it will eventually go ahead now the writings on the wall , the central and jubilee trains basically run fully automatic now the driver does the same thing as a PSA on the DLR in opening and closing doors and giving the start signal , and is effectively there for when something goes wrong as for trains with no cabs is that really practical on the tube?

As long the drivers will persuade the tories plan on driverless trains to be scrapped. i will be happy. as long there is a massive disruption made by the workers which will make the tories to rethink on driverless trains. They can just extend the DLR to Aldwych and Charing Cross.

The driverless trains will not do on strike causing regular disruption to big parts of London - Crow will make a big deal of it as it seriously erodes his powerbase - might hurt his over-inflated ego

It's about time someone took him down to size and the rest of the union leaders. 'joefrombow' - the Victoria Line has had the ATO system since the line was opened, becoming the first full scale automatic line in the world.
