I attended a 108 who did that by Greenwich Park before and got a suspension bolt wedged on the pavement due to the road camber. That was on a quiet road though!

I find the comment made by 'Hove Ex-Pat' very silly indeed, Abellio are a decent company as was Travel London & Connex before it. At the end of the day, he made a mistake and that should be the end of it.

Those new e200s are very low down at the rear end, the 314s at TB do grind apparently at New Addington and at TB

Any idea on what happened to the driver of that 108? I heard that the driver of the T33 involved could be dismissed as its classed as gross misconduct. Did the same thing happen to the driver of the 108?

That driver should have known better than to try and do a 3 point turn on a road at that angle, with a bus of that size, furthermore without a banksman to assist. I do feel bad for the driver though. Admittedly I have made mistakes requiring a 3 point turn but only when there was no chance I'd come to any grief.
For example, I drove an E400 down Bedford Road in Clapham, where the P5 goes. I didn't know the bridge was only 12ft something and there are no warnings at all on Acre Lane. I was forced to do a 3 point in a side road but there was more than adequate clearance.
I made some H&S recommendations to a manager at Abellio after identifying some areas that could have done with addressing that would prevent this kind of thing happening. My opinions were disregarded...then a few weeks later, the company created several vacancies for ambassadors. The JD is more or less identical to what I had said was required earlier!

Basically he drove the wrong way down Charlton Way where the 53s go towards the Standard and then tried a 3 point turn where the coaches park outside Greenwich Park.

So that's what was happening over there! Heard something over the radio but couldn't really make it out
If I'm reading that picture right, it would appear the driver has completely missed Addington Village Interchange. The T33 doesn't go up into New Addington (I think) so it's understandable that the driver may not have known where they were going. But some drivers really don't help themselves. There is ample opportunity to pull over and use the radio to request assistance. If the driver had used the radio he'd have been told about the sodding great roundabout a short distance up the road..........

If He had gone straight up there would be a nice big place for him to turn around but he obviously was an Abellio driver instead of a Metrobus driver so would not of known the area as well
