I want the girls named and shamed. They should be banned from travelling on the TFL buses as well! They should also pay for the repairing of the bus as well as they caused the damaged. I wonder what the emotions of the parents are like? Ban free bus fares for kids (except school days) For once 'freebbc', I agree with you. They should indeed be named and shamed instead of hiding behind the 'they can't be named for legal reasons due to their age'. I find that ruling extremely stupid because at the end of the day, they shouldn't of comitted their dreadful act and your rights should be removed once do you something like this. They indeed should be banned from using the bus, might make them learn that fire doesn't belong on a bus! Them & their family should also be made to cover the damage as the parents are just as much to blame as the two girls. And yes, free travel for kids should be removed all year around regardless of school days or not. I disagree with 18+ people receiving it - IMO, it should be the elderly, disabled people and armed forces personnal that should receive free travel. To the person who mentioned human rights, they lost their human rights the minute they decided 19000 was better off as a fireplace! The human rights laws have been so abused that human rights are now a joke - everyone uses it as a way of copping out of something. As for what should happen to 19000 once repaired, it should be put into it's old livery with all the decals it had but thats where I would stop. The blinds should be left as they are as should the interior. As for renumbering it back to 18500, then yes but only if nothing is currently using that number in the Stagecoach UK fleet. Very few 18+ people receive it. I myself am 18, and I've had to buy a fairly expensive Travelcard. Only discounts an 18+ offers you is a 1/3 off the price of such Travelcards - which is useful if you're on a student budget. All other fares are normal adult price (bus/train/etc.)

But i'll agree with these kids not having free travel all year round, I mean how do kids ever get anywhere outside London without their free travel?? That's right, they pay!

When i first went to school, i got a free bus pass from the council but it was only valid during term time and.over half term.

I think it should be school days only and perhaps limited to maximum 4 journeys per day - enough to get 2 buses to school and back. Otherwise their Oyster should offer them a half-rate fare - not sure we should subsidise everyone's leisure travel, and it might stop the ridiculous crowding of some routes just to go a two or three stops.

The kids keep on trying the excuses of getting out of their PE lessons as they really should take a free fitness program which is walking.

When rebuilt and returned in the new year it will have more prominent 'Spirit of London' Branding and will be seen more in Central London, not sure exactly what is meant by that, maybe a move to BW? I'm just repeating what Stagecoach London Management have told me.

I hope it does transfer to BW - given that's got three Central London routes, it'd be an appropriate place.
