I thought good buses should get mentions too... E38 on route 196 up Knight's Hill, hit 28 mph in no time WVL258 on route 468 up South Norwood Hill, hit 30 mph DW122 on route 50 along Melfort Road, hit 32 mph (the engine makes a lovely growl ) DLA187 on route 264, Croydon Road, hit 38 mph (produces a lovely whine too) Speeds recorded using Ulaysse Speedometer app.

E57 - best Enviro 400 I've ever travelled on, seems to be set on some setting that makes the bus automatically be in a high revs mode and it's unrestricted acceleration wise. DLA170 or 171 also seems to be like this.

10162 - All 4 wheels 6 wheels on, Doors working properly and no funny engine noises to report. All is s'well you should have 6 wheels as it's double wheelbase at the back FTFY

DW51, DW58, DW60 are also pretty good as far as BN's DW's go.

Recent find, took out PVL410 the other day and it earned a GTi written after the fleet number in the cab as our good buses tend to aquire! ;D

DLA170 or 171 also seems to be like this. E57 probably has the same engine and gearbox program that E's 40-56 have seeing as it was ordered aroudn the same time as that batch. hence why it goes like the clappers.

No doubt it has the same set up apart from the automatic high revs bit. I know your E's can do the same but everytime I see or ride E57, it's 99.9% of the time in high revs mode. In fact, I only ever heard it in normal revs mode 3 times out of the 20 odd times I've seen or rode her.

I dread to think what's in the cab of LV's E200's the way they 'care' for them... ;D I thought this thread would struggle like Rafa Benitez but it's actually quite good Not bus related but I rode on a quick class 315 to Bruce Grove the other day that had all its seats intact... and was clean
