Travelled on 9452 on the 35, this bus feels very nippy with a good powerful kickdown from first gear pullaway....as opposed to the other E400s from QB where their governed turbo doesn't properly kick in until second or third gear.

The WN DWs do not seem to be restricted! And the volvo alexanders, were they rebuilt & retrofitted by Volvo Brimsdown or Arriva engineers?

Except for the SWB examples that used to guest star on the 176s at night. Vastly inferior in performance to the long VLAs . Well most of them anyway, a few are still rather sluggish. The long VLAs do very occasionally appear on the night 176s, they feel so much quicker than the Ts Travelled on 9452 on the 35, this bus feels very nippy with a good powerful kickdown from first gear pullaway....as opposed to the other E400s from QB where their governed turbo doesn't properly kick in until second or third gear. 9452 was one of the better ones, but still restricted in the 2nd half of 1st. 9448 has been fully unrestricted now - had a word with an old colleague and the 40mph speed restriction has also been lifted

DW66- very clapped out. DW75- un-clapped out- has just caught up with VLA157 at Clapham South. DW81- clapped out but brisk acceleration DLA318- much less clapped out than last time I was on it, on the 109. Struggled up Whitehorse Lane bridge on the 50 recently though.

DW66 has been clapped our for the last 2 years - I've seen with all black up the rear engine compartment, spewing smoke, making loud banging sounds & moving slowly. It's the worst 1st gen DW.

9014 extremely nippy pullaway along with a rich torque, up there with BC's 9021 and 9073.

DW56-Very painful acceleration, obviously restricted, but one excellent female driver today got it going up to 31 mph around Clapham Common and the Clapham South loop.

Have any of the DWs from TC been performance restricted yet? I can't see them fully escaping treatment.

DW131 sounds great but unfortunately isn't very fast. DLA371 flew down Melfort Road on route 50 today at an astounding 35 mph. It has excellent acceleration and is one of the few BN DLA's that are refurbished.
