So just seen on the news that LUL have voted for strike action on Boxing Day again this year. Sounds like there could be plenty of rail replacement coming our way!

I think they're going to have very little sympathy from the public this time around!

The wages they would have earned that day should be re-distributed amongst the bus drivers working on the strike days!

Therefore striking during the busiest period for maximum inconvenience is in both the employee and union interests. It always puzzles me why people make ridiculous comments suggesting strike action should be taken when it effects the least people!!

I'm in ASLEF but I'm not a tube operator. It should be noted that most national rail services (that's me) will not be operating on this day. For those of you who don't know me I was formerly a full time London bus driver for 6 years and I still drive coaches and rail replacements on days off.

Can't wait to try the 25 at rush hour The 25 is going to be the most hit route in London due to Westfield. EnsignBus and probs Sullivan Buses as well may help out. Maybe NP could chuck a few DNs on the 25 as well as.
