Here we go, the results! 1) Name any currently used TfL garage that was used by London Transport's Wandle District. 1 point : TC, mredd1 point : BN, romfordbuses2 points : AL, guybowden, DLA3652 points : A, snowman, metrobus50 points : ED, beaver14uk50 points : route 61, ChrisThe former Wandle District covers roughly what is now London General/Arriva London South area. beaver14uk's answer of Elmers End (ED) falls down on the garage not existing any more (flattened way before TfL time), though it was indeed a Wandle District garage. A couple of answers that would be correct but weren't given include TH (Thornton Heath) and N (Norwood). 2) Name any current TfL route that travels down any part of the A2 road. 1 point, route 53, guybowden1 point, route 42, Chris1 point, route 172, mredd1 point, route 286, beaver14uk1 point, route 21, snowman2 points, route 386, DLA 365, romfordbuses50 points, route 290, metrobusSorry, metrobus, this was the question that let you down! The A2 is very much a South East London affair, and any route that travels down the Old Kent Road, New Cross Road, Shooter's Hill Road to the Sun in the Sands Roundabout would have been valid. Some answers therefore not given include 36, 89, 171, 321 : but there are many more. 3) Another route question : any current TfL route that penetrates the current Hertfordshire County Council area. 1 point, route 107, beaver14uk1 point, route 217, snowman1 point, route 142, romfordbuses2 points, route 298, guybowden, metrobus2 points, route 292, mredd, DLA 36550 points, route 84, ChrisSorry, but route 84 is commercially operated by Metroline. All the others were good answers. Surprised no-one mentioned route 258!... 4) Name any London Transport garage that operated the BL class of Bristol LHs at any time. 1 point, TB, guybowden1 point, NS, Chris1 point, TC, snowman1 point, K, romfordbuses1 point, SW, metrobus2 points, A, DLA365, beaver14uk50 points, DG, mreddSome excellent answers here, and even mredd's attempt at DG (Dunton Green) was noble, unfortunately by the time DG got BL vehicles, it was a London Country depot. A few others included Edgware (EW), Holloway (HT) and Uxbridge (UX), home of the special route 128 examples. 5) Name any current TfL route that has been operated by Metroline post privatisation (1994), but isn't now. The route has to still be in existence now, but not necessarily in the same form as when Metroline ran it. 1 point, route 298, guybowden1 point, route W5, Chris1 point, route 70, mredd1 point, route 112, DLA3651 point, route 117, snowman1 point, route 10, metrobus2 points, route C2, beaver14uk, romfordbusesAll good answers, and almost all unique answers too. If only one of the route C2-ers had gone for the 183 instead... 6) Name any type of double deck bus operated by London Country between 1970-1985. Class code will suffice, and the vehicle doesn't have to have been used for passenger duties. 1 point, RML, mredd1 point, XF, guybowden1 point, LR, beaver14uk5 points, AN, Chris, DLA365, snowman, romfordbuses, metrobusSorry, but I haven't distinguished between different batches of ANs (as one of you mentioned a particular batch). Plenty of other possibilities here : RMC, RCL, RT, AF, and London Country even had a few DMSs as trainers... 7) Name any route that serves, or has served North Greenwich Bus Station since its opening. 1 point, route 129, guybowden1 point, route M1, mredd1 point, route 161, snowman2 points, route M2, DLA365, beaver14uk3 points, route 108, Chris, romfordbuses, metrobusGood to see three of you recalling the M-routes! Route 108 is popular too! You don't really need me to say some of the other possibilities, but of course you could have said 132, 188, 422... 8) Name any current TfL bus garage within the London Borough of Newham. 2 points, WH, guybowden, DLA3652 points, SI, snowman, metrobus50 points, DX, Chris50 points, LI, mredd50 points, BW, beaver14uk, romfordbusesOnly two possible answers here, since the closure of Upton Park (U), and both were found, WH and SI. DX is in Barking and Dagenham, LI in Waltham Forest, but the unfortunate one is BW, which is only just in Tower Hamlets. 9) Name any current night bus service (N-prefix routes, no 24 hour services please) that has been in existence for at least 10 years continuously. 1 point, N3, guybowden1 point, N8, Chris1 point, N171, mredd1 point, N279, DLA3651 point, N1, beaver14uk1 point, N97, snowman1 point, N15, romfordbuses1 point, N47, metrobusAll right, and all unique. Yay! 10) Name any current TfL bus service that's 5 miles long or less. The source for this will be Robert Munster's London Bus Routes webpages, and the two Heritage Routemaster routes do not count for the purposes of this question. 1 point, W7, Chris1 point, 518, mredd1 point, 686, DLA3651 point, E1, snowman1 point, 346, romfordbuses3 points, 129, guybowden, beaver14uk, metrobusIsn't it strange that when someone mentions 'short bus route', so many minds immediately think '129' ;D Routes 291 and 415 are just two more of many correct answers possible. And so, I am proud to announce the winner as guybowden!Though snowman can definitely have an honourable mention as runner up, just one point behind (or in front, depending on how you look at it!!!) Thanks for taking part, I'll put another quiz together around April if people are up for it. 1. guybowden : 152. snowman : 16 3. DLA365 : 20 4. romfordbuses : 67 5. metrobus : 70 6. mredd : 109 7. beaver14uk : 113 8. Chris : 164

I wasn't sure if LI was in Newham or Waltham Forest as it's very near the border! Never mind. Denton Green was a half-guess as I'd seen photos of it before but wasn't sure!

Ian's Bus Stop site would of helped you out Ed. As some of the questions here were mostly on their plus it was colour coded so you wouldn't get confused..

I couldn't remember, and Ian's Bus Stop is cheating, anyway I should've probably guessed Dunton Green would be London Country given its location!

Misread it!
