Yesterday: Routes 207, 427, 483, 607 diverted westbound only between Boston Road and Lower Boston Road via those roads due to a road obstruction on the westbound carriageway on Uxbridge Road
Today: Routes H14, H18/19, 223, 182, 186, 483 all diverted in both directions between Station Road and Sheepcote Roundabout (presumably via Gayton Road) due to a burst water main on Kenton Road

A short section of the A205 near the Horniman Museum is closed due to a burst water main prompting a set of diversions - the 176 and 197 are bypassing Forest Hill. The 185 is diverted via Kirkdale and Dartmouth Road.
What is interesting is the P4 isn’t missing any stops - it’s going via Sydenham Hill and Sydenham Rise, doing a U-turn at a notorious roundabout to facilitate this. As I was going to Lewisham I wanted to wait for one, but an enormous gap in the service meant the 185 was the faster option.

Lots of turns and diversions in the West End today
Due to Regent's Street, Piccadilly and Strand being shut the following bus routes were affected: 94 cut to Oxford Circus 29 cut to Tottenham Court Road 139 diverted between Oxford Circus and Aldwych via Holborn 19 and 38 diverted between Hyde Park Corner and Tottenham Court Road via Marble Arch 176 and 91 cut to Aldwych 453 diverted between Oxford Circus and Waterloo via Holborn and Aldwych Not quite sure the extent of the 88 diversion but it was diverted from Oxford Circus via Holborn, Aldwych, Waterloo (presumably onto its LOR at Vauxhall) The 24 was also diverted via Holborn, Aldwych and Waterloo. I wasn't really in the areas west of Waterloo (ie Vauxhall or Pimlico) so I wasn't sure where the 24 joined its LOR.

The London Landmarks Half Marathon is taking place. Lots of routes are expected to be diverted or curtailed (including many night services)

Just as well I'm not planning to go there on Sunday!

Not exactly sure what's wrong myself, but as a guess, either the left turn into Westbourne Park Road from Chepstow Road or the left turn into Westbourne Park Road from Ladbroke Grove are causing issues, they look quite narrow. I'm not sure why they discovered this now, after a while of having these buses on the route, nor am I sure why they're diverting the route onto the 23's line of route, a route with turns that could be even more problematic than the ones on the 7.

The diversion suggests it's likely the turn from Ladbroke Grove into Westbourne Park Road though the turn don't look that bad and actually looks wider than turning into Elgin Crescent especially taking into consideration that the stop line for the lights on the opposite side of Westbourne Park Road is further back than on Elgin Crescent.

Apparently, lots of route 7 drivers (on WHD vehicles) were calling regularly into the NMCC saying that they were finding it hard to turn right from Westbourne Grove into Chepstow Road. Buses were having to mount the kerb to get through. There were also calls from route 70 buses regarding the tight right turn. So buses were put on diversion. There are roadworks, lane restrictions and temporary signals at the Westbourne Grove/Chepstow Road junction which must have caused the issue. VWH's are able to get through due to its shorter length. Roadworks are expected to finish in the next 2 weeks so hopefully WHD's will be able to return to their normal line of route.

The P4 missed one stop towards Brixton at Horniman Museum but was able to serve the Horminan stop towards Lewisham. That diversion finally finished on Thursday afternoon in the northbound direction for all routes. Southbound was normal route from Tuesday.

The 331 is not serving any stops between Copse Wood Way and Northwood station due to Maxwell Road being closed. The 331 does a double run via Green Lane to Northwood Station and onto its LOR.
When I was on the 331 yesterday going towards Northwood I wasn't aware of the diversion and the driver said nothing about it, I noticed the left turn from Copse Wood Way onto Rickmansworth Road rather than a right turn, I was concerned that the driver was going to miss out Northwood completely so I had to ask him if we were going to Northwood station but fortunately we did, and he made a right turn onto Green Lane rather than continuing straight on Rickmansworth Road

Danebury Avenue is closed due to a burst water main. Buses are diverting to the Bessborough Road stand, but unsure if this is being done in service or if passengers are being kicked off at Medfield Street

Danebury Avenue is closed due to a burst water main. Buses are diverting to the Bessborough Road stand, but unsure if this is being done in service or if passengers are being kicked off at Medfield Street Having seen the NOE, buses are terminating at the Medfield Street stop and proceeding to the Bessborough Road stand not in service. Affecting routes 170,430 and N74. Also on the TFL bus status page.
