NMCC notes there have been multiple collisions here since this morning when the traffic lights were noted as "damaged"

Route 1 is currently diverted via 188's LOR from Canada Water - Lower Road, Jamaica Road, Tanner Street (towards Hampstead) and Tower Bridge Road.

381 is also on diversion between Peckham Park Road and Surrey Quays by double running back to Tower Bridge from Surrey Quays, Tanner Street, Bricklayers Arms and Old Kent Road.

Thanks for sharing. Very helpful and pretty much what I suspected although did not have 69 standing at South Grove. The 215 at stop P will cause traffic. You can tell alot of thinking went into this but the big question is will anyone have thought to change the traffic light sequencing with the station closed That may make up for some of the expected delays particularly with the bus lane being used as a stand.

Route 360 is currently diverted in both directions away from Pelham Street in South Kesnsington for two reasons:

Buses are being diverted long term in the westbound direction due to road incursions as part of the redevelopment of 40-80 Pelham Street.
Dates: 16/9/24-15/9/25 (not a firm end date)

In the eastbound direction, buses are diverted due to utility works.
Dates: 28/10/24-30/11/24

Buses will use Fulham Road and Onslow Square in both directions.

For those interested there is a rare opportunity to ride a bus down Bishops Avenue on a weekend or evening this weekend (until 5pm Monday) as the 210 and 310 are diverted.

For those who’ve never ventured down Bishops Avenue, it is a bizarre road. Lots of huge, abandoned mansions, largely used as “deposit boxes” by global despots and therefore not used as functioning homes. Some are starting to be converted into apartment blocks which will hopefully contain more life and less shady ownership….

Until recently, despite being a fairly narrow road full of parked cars (indeed I observed a 310 get stuck behind a badly parked car adjoining a traffic island earlier 🤦🏻‍♂️), it had a 40 mph limit for some strange reason - this has now reverted to 30.

I remember a H3 driver, back when it was run from GR with original Solos, was telling me that Jonathan Ross among other celebrities had a mansion along The Bishops Avenue and it was actually quite common to see some of them as the driver would pass by. Can't speak for any despots mind you

I think it's only the Hampstead end that's narrowish and that section was always 30mph from memory with the old 40mph section beginning where the road widens. I believe the bit between Lyttelton Road & East Finchley was always 30mph IIRC.

It wasn’t— it was in service, and continued along Beulah Hill, rather than turning into Grecian Crescent like a curtailed 417 would. However, I did see 417s continuing down Crown Dale straight after, so I’m not sure if the driver was lost or if the problem had resolved itself right after.

I believe the top of Central Hill was temporarily taped off by police so that may have been the issue.
