The 57 and 219 were last night diverted via Garratt LaneĀ¹, Wimbledon Road, and Haydons Road due to the closure of Tooting High Street near Blackshaw Road. The 131 meanwhile was curtailed to Colliers Wood.
Ā¹ - Was originally via London Road and Western Road

The 22 makes a return to Piccadilly I have seen alot of those tweets recently about badly parked vehicles are people not thinking of their surroundings? It's just complete ignorance they have no care of other road users

The 22 makes a return to Piccadilly I don't think that means a return to Piccadilly Circus, the 22 already uses Piccadilly itself which is probably what it is referencing. I think Green Park Station would have been a better description.

Yes you're probably right however if stratton street was where the bad car is then you couldn't turn buses at Green Park, nearest place on the route would be Hyde Park Corner.

The 22 makes a return to Piccadilly I have seen alot of those tweets recently about badly parked vehicles are people not thinking of their surroundings? It's just complete ignoranceĀ they have no care of other road usersĀ It is illegal to park within 10m of a junction ... the amount of vans and large cars that do that in residential areas meaning you have to pull out blind is absolutely shocking. Seems this is the one offence councils are unwilling to make money from the motorist on, despite it probably be being the most dangerous ... but hey instead we will roll out more 20mph zones.

Near my home cars are parked on both sides and itās impossible to see if a vehicle is approaching while driving out of the residential road my car is parked. Ironically itās easier at night as the lights give approaching cars away - daytime I had a narrow miss on Saturday as a car was coming fast!

Surely the 22 should still go to Oxford Circus via Piccadilly Circus?

Route 412 is on diversion at the moment due to a car in someone's driveway on fire in Mitchley Avenue

The E1's diversion via St Leonard's Road and the Uxbridge Road has finally ended. This is great as for the last three years since Ealing Council idiotically changed Longfield Avenue to no left turn into the Uxbridge Road, St Leonard's Road has just become a line of, often stationary, cars.
