Can TFL send information to countdown boards at bus stops? The reason I ask is I was on the 498's and there was massive delays at brook street roundabout. I got in hour and a half late for my meal break, and was suppossed to leave at 1700 for my second half and did'nt leave until 2000!!! People at the stops were going mad, can't say I blame them, but I would not wait at a stop for over an hour for a bus, thats for sure. Can TFL send a message to the stop along the lines of 'severe delays on route 498 due to traffic, average delays are 1 hour'. With 'live' delays, especially to just one route, would be hard to update to a few countdowns on a regular basis. You do get messages along the bottom, but usually they are for anticapted problems. On the other hand, buses that are not due in 30 minutes are not displayed (although buses can get stuck on a certain time for a while). That is a good thing as if the bus is not due for a while I can make a quick decision.

Actually, there was once a car accident near Chase farm Hospital and the countdown boxes at Enfield Town were saying something like "313 diverted due to accident at Chase Farm Hosp, expect delays"

Almost missed the 261 today as i had to run for it. Passengers were boarding a 119 at another stop blocking me from going through but i did eventually get through. The 261 driver closed his door and i thought if i get near the mirror he will see me, he did go to drive off but he saw me at the last minute he then looked back in the cab through the window and let me on Sometime hi-vis come in use

I got to norwood junction and looked at the countdown to see how far my leader was (out of curiosity). I noticed a scrolling message saying that the 75 and 157 were subject to delays and diversion due to accident in the selhurst area
