TE1722 now a open topper and a unidentified TE in the background possibly another ex UX? Probably one of TE1716-1718/1721/1723/1727 which all went to Ensigns at the same time as TE1722. Transdev seem to like buying the ex Metroline stock as of recently - They bought TE729-736 (Basically most of the 07 reg batch) recently for their Rochdale operation, and also recently bought DE1788/1789/1798/1799/1812 for the Rochdale operation too. Now they seem to have bought several of the TE17xx batch for their York Sightseeing operation.

They are used on their "Rochdale Runners" services, which are basically the collection of newly tendered R routes around Rochdale, formerly numbered in the 4xx series - The Rochdale Runners scheme seems to be another branding tactic used by Transdev.

TE1722 now a open topper and a unidentified TE in the background possibly another ex UX? Now confirmed the vehicles are ex Metroline TE1722/1734/1736/1738. Also worth noting is that TE897/899 have joined TE1582 at First Scotland and are also becoming open toppers. Other Metroline disposals include TA649 & VP564 to Shelton Motors for scrap, DE1792 to Panther Travel and DE1791 to Candy Coaches. (SOURCE - Ross Newmans Ensign Fleet Movements list - Can be found on the Steven Knight Media Website). Also for those interested in where some of the SELs of gone, the following have all gone to Callinan Coaches, Eire: SEL739-741/743/744/746/747/750/755/756/758-762/764/805/807-809 - Meaning 20/33 have found a new home. Also worth noting is the disposal of the 2 final East Lancs Esteems in London service - 231/232 have both been sold to Ensigns, with 232 having already found a new home at Go Goodwins. Also the two Vantage Hybrid WVLs (94 & 95) have been sold to Ensign - will be interesting to see if they get sold.

Interesting to see the Vantage power WVLs are at Ensign now the other thing to keep an eye on is VLA99 and 100 wich was reported to be at the Beddington Lane outstation recently. Still no mention of TE828 unless I have missed it dosent seem to be mentioned on the Ensign fleet movements
