Was surprised they didn't pick up longer buses especially for the 13 given that uses some quite long buses. The Abellio MMCs off the 433 that were decommed would've been a great match

Why does that look like really bad Photoshop?

The Green Bus are selling off their Euro 2 and 3 engined buses, including 9732, 9738, 9743, 9748, 9760, NV129, NV164 and NV165. Any idea where the volvos may end up? Not sure, anyone could buy them. Now it’s public knowledge, 9732 and 9738 have gone to Southern Transit. I had a fleeting thought to put in a bid on 9760 but that came and went pretty quickly!

/photo/1 ENL80/81 under their new lives About time the Eden Project got some shuttle buses which there was a severe lack of when I went there in July. On the subject of ENL’s, I saw ENL40 at Manchester Airport Bus Station this afternoon in its new life with Go Goodwins. It has a new private reg too, 330GGX which people on Flickr seem to believe is ENL34, however as I was reversing out the bus station onboard another bus, I could just about make out on the rear that it was ENL40.

I only been to Eden project once, about 16 years ago, and I am sure they had 18m articulated buses on the shuttles, wonder why they have gone for such short buses now. Used to be yellow colour with grey skirt, but looks like now using London red

That would've been more a dozen years ago but yes interesting how they went for E200s instead. Perhaps it could be due to COVID? Also were the Articulated buses always that full...they would've been an enthusiasts paradise but I don't know if they would be that full?
Also I believe these might get repainted.

The original bendies on the Eden Project service weren't ex-London. Truronian took 3 new Citaro-Gs for the service in 2006 (nearly 16 years ago, but not quite). These were given cherished regs AN/BN/CN02EDN transferred from the previous vehicles (rigid Enviro300s) making them look older than they really were.
After First took over, those Citaros were returned off-lease and ended up with Uno (reregistered MH06YJD/E/F). They were replaced by artics transferred in from elsewhere. No idea when they stopped using artics.

Interesting and they stopped using them just before COVID.
