Are there any preserved TN’s / TNL’s? It would be sad if they disappeared. TN822 has been with the Bromley Bus Preservation Group for nearly three years and was thankfully still in dual door format when aquired.

I know, it is really sad. The type really is dying out.
Norfolk have quite a hefty number of Tridents on City Work however, it has a mixture of the 25/105/414/E1/E3 batches. Somerset have a few from the 295 batch. Essex have a good number from the 123/295/607 batches, which again does show the type is still somewhat alive. In regards to Open Tops, 1 is working in Great Yarmouth (I believe from the 207 batch?) and 2 are working in Cornwall (I believe from the 25/123 batches)
Really sad the type is dying out, I think numbers across the UK are now at 40 or so from those Tridents alone (this includes other operators like Transdev).
Are there any preserved TN’s / TNL’s? It would be sad if they disappeared. Are any 03 reg TNs ex 282 and U4 batch still around andcthe X reg TNs from the 27 and 258 batch still around? If you're interested in purchasing one there are quite a few spare at the minute, some were released from Cornwall a few weeks back so I'll enquire as to where you can purchase them from if you would want one to preserve.
There was an X reg left that departed from Somerset's fleet last year but not sure what happened to it.

Out of interest any idea what percentage of them are with the euro2 engines. Are there also any euro3 examples with the Voith box?

I never thought of preserving one myself. How much do they cost?

I’m more gutted for the PDL’s particularly the X & 02 reg buses which were brilliant. The 03 reg were nice but the former were a bit more interesting

The 03 reg were nice but the former were a bit more interesting I loved each batch for different reasons: X reg PDL1-13 for not being speed restricted like some of the newer ones became. 02 reg PDL14-27 were faster with a good hold in 1st gear kickdown, which i enjoyed using especially up the hills 03 reg PDL28-50 for being that bit faster plus generally lovely harmonics especially during 3rd and 4th gears
