It sucks that those buses left London very early in their tenure Similarly in that respect to Go Ahead's PDL Tridents, even though they were quite unpopular at Stockwell Garage (barring myself and a select few who loved them). I know an ex Stockwell driver who hated the PDL's, he just found them uncomfortable and something about the positioning of the foot pedals.

Yes, the inclined foot pedals were the main issue, plus general cab space was slightly less abundant than on the PVLs. Also the euro3 Tridents were more prone to skidding in the rain when braking, which I reckon may be ABS related as the euro2 variants which didn't have them fitted weren’t so bad.

Their 53 reg TNA class Tridents were ordered with four speed Voith. It sucks that those buses left London very early in their tenure They'd have left even earlier had it not been for the Olympics! The 23 was reawarded (together with 92 and 295) in 2010 on the basis of getting new buses in 2012, to give First the possibility of using the new buses on their Olympic contracts first. In the event they bought new provincial-spec buses for the Olympics so when the new London-spec buses arrived in 2012 they went straight onto their intended routes. But in the meantime the TNAs soldiered on for an extra two years.

It seems Morebus's fleet that were transferred in from GAL last year (including WVN53, EN45), does anyone perhaps know why they've all suddenly been withdrawn? Were they temporary?

So THAT’s the DNH that got exported to Taiwan! What's it going to be used for? Transport in Taiwan most likely... isn't there a similar subsidiary like TT over there?
