I wonder what's going on with the wheelchair rest , but nice moquette Should be interesting to see how many First Essex acquire, I know along with their frequency reductions & their purchase of other E200s from Halton/E200s lost from their Chelmsford Park&Ride service there has been an active effort in reducing the number of B7RLEs/Darts amongst their fleet. As well as the older deckers although Tridents survived at Hadleigh so I’ve been told

It was a reference to the fact that it sports a Metroline moquette

Former Go Ahead London E95/97/98/100-103 are to transfer to Go North East I believe, maybe E99 will follow I'd have preferred some WVLs to go there instead. They have many indigenous Volvo B9TLs, including WVLs from London route 22, but few if any other classic Enviro 400s. They do have some MMC examples though. Those Es would probably replace ex-Brighton Scanias.

I saw ex Go-ahead WVL107 passing through Archway earlier anyone know who it's with? It's still in TFL spec and red from what I could see and had the 155 on the rear blind

I imagine it is perhaps owned by one of the local Jewish-ran bus companies designed for transporting children across North London.

I think I've seen it before myself but wasn't able to identify what it was. I'll keep an eye out now.

No you are correct it probably is WVL107, I initially thought the one I saw was an 02 plated ex 85 or 333 example, however from what I can tell no such example exists in N London however WVL107 may very well do, especially as listed on an Ex London Buses List here, it has a question mark although I suppose it could also not be that specific example because it has had an expired MOT since September 2020. Although if it was driving around on an expired MOT, that would be a concern.

Perhaps it was traveling to a pre-booked MOT test. I believe that is the only reason you can drive a vehicle with no MOT on the road.

Former Go Ahead's E1 is reported to be at Ensignbus, which would be ideal for preservation if possible.

Also on their site it's mentioned that buses are in the process of being converted to single doors, which makes me wonder if any untreated buses could ideally be caught in time for a lower price.
