Just if of any interest to anyone: 1. There are more E200s due to arrive into Glasgow from RATP although I am not sure on how many. I have heard they are to be allocated at their Caledonia Depot, although not sure as to if any other depots will also have vehicles replaced with any more. Have heard that they are to replace any remaining Darts in Caledonia, so I would expect 4 RATP examples to head to First Glasgow. 2. Have also heard that First Eastern Counties' depot Lowestoft is due some E200s, though not sure as to if they are to be from RATP London. From what I can tell, there are 5 Darts (which I assume are on FirstGroups agenda to begin replacing) which are 05 plated and seem to be a similar length to that of a 10.2m Enviro200. So I could maybe predict another 5 heading there?
3. I have also heard First Essex may acquire a batch of E400s from Abellio, I would assume from the 9487-9504 batch. They have an aging fleet of deckers, although not too sure on how many they would replace.
Why are they buying so much second hand stock given they've brought loads recently as well. The double decker fleet at Essex was recently refreshed with the changes that were introduced - the remaining Tridents are all expected to go regardless, think just one left at Hadleigh now and it's really just some B7TL's up at Colchester in terms of elderly deckers Could be a slightly jaded attempt to boost its fleets book value in advance of circling takeover bids.

That doesn’t seem to be the way First is going, their idea for the moment seems to be merging regions such as First South West & First Berkshire, Hampshire & Dorset vjaska Not sure on why they are buying so much stuff however I imagine it’s in the local operators control. First Essex have a largely elderly fleet and much of what is being released either by new stock (the Geminis in Glasgow) or by PVR reductions isn’t likely compliant for new contracts or operators are not interested in the stock being released. What seems to be the general verdict is what is being released tends to be older, of course the exception being Bristol where some of their B9s are now in Cornwall as part of new contracts from September and some of their B9s are now in Norwich as part of a new P&R contract taken off of Hedingham Essex judging by bustimes.org have about 15 53 plated & older deckers, so I should imagine a new common type being introduced in the form of E400s should suffice as a good replacement (Essex already took on some examples from the Excel network in Bristol)

A good purchase this one. Spent half its life on school duties and had a good refurb too. Mileage would have been below average. Just if of any interest to anyone:

First West Yorkshire could do with these. They'd be much newer than most of the Volvo fleet at Halifax and Huddersfield

Ex London United DE20022 (also known as Go-Ahead’s OM1) has interestingly ended up at First Glasgow A good purchase this one. Spent half its life on school duties and had a good refurb too. Mileage would have been below average. Agreed, it was surprisingly for its age in a good condition when it was based at Metrobus Croydon.

First are quite keen to take the E200s to Glasgow due to the introduction of a Low Emission Zone, and these have been modified to be compliant. RATP will have few more spare once, when the 218 cut takes place and remaining BEs enter service There are lots of new electric BYD E200EVs being built for First in Glasgow, so maybe they are looking at replacing other buses not due new electrics

In the last approx week and a half, 12 B9TL/Gemini have arrived from Bradford :- 58-reg 37360-6 and 09-reg 37705/07/10/12/13 Meanwhile, not wanting to be left out Huddersfield has received 37720 from Hunslet Park (Leeds)

They have some ex Arriva E400s currently being single doored, they are heading to Hadleigh depot. T114 has already been pictured single doored and being prepped for repaint, several more are due, all intended as Trident replacements.

Back in the day they hardly bought buses from any of the big operator rival groups. I guess all the ex Tower Transit/First London DN's have all been snapped up already.

lol, the starter motor had problems before it was withdrawn from the training fleet, see that it has now been replaced by person who bought it.

DE20046 now with First Cymru numbered 44455. Just to anyone interested, I believe DE22 has been numbered 44441, so I'd expect across Glasgow, Cymru and Norfolk there should be a total of 15 ex RATP examples
