Would you rather it be scrapped? I'd rather it go to another operator, or at least be preserved I understand that but as that isn't always achievable, then surely being used as a mobile cafe or a campaign bus is better than scrap which is what I was originally getting at.

This month's Buses magazine tells the tale of a schoolgirl bus enthusiast in Kent who has just bought former DLA225 from Arriva Southern Counties following the bus's recent withdrawal... first of all, I thought the story was as fake as the X Factor but apparently not ( Millar's Tales, pg 28, December ) so perhaps YY13VKP can buy it when they're done with said DLA

I like the way they have a make offer button as well. Sale ends 10 days before DDA deadline for a non DDA bus at £7000+VAT, so could use it at £840 per day until deadline, except it doesn't have MOT either. so can't use it unless you can find commercial MOT station open over Christmas Is it April 1st?
