"Nine Stagecoach London Tridents in the 184** batch are being converted to open-top (some full- and some part- open-top). The first conversion is 18475 named “King Henry VIII”, now fully open-topped and blue with Megasightseeing.com lettering. Sightseeing tours in London should begin during April."

Only from July,there is a little note at the bottom of the page: "Important: The Modern Double Deck bus will be available from dates in July 2018 onwards, until then only the Bendy Bus is available."

And I paid £20 I think, a few years ago for a 15min spin on First's DML41421 at Wisley. Would be good if something like that could be arranged again for the spring gathering!

All sounds a bit pricey to me, a few years ago Arriva were doing a free drive a bus at Detling. Surely anybody who really wants to drive a bus could just apply for a job and get a free test drive?

Even better value than a drive of VLA147 or DML41421 is a supermarket trolley. You can drive it round a supermarket for just £1, with no Megabus booking fee added. Then at the end of the drive, you can get your £1 back!!!

I'd love for such an event to include Scania deckers and DB250s, so as to personally experience the difference between them and the Volvos and Dennises I've driven.
