My choices would be a Dennis Arrow or an Optare Spectra, both of which I have a soft spot for. Granted, neither were big sellers but I would rather preserve one of the less known types than say a Routemaster, of which there are too many in preservation as it is! Alternatively a W/X/Y reg Dart SLF- that lovely engine tone... Indeed we are now getting a point were low floor buses are now getting preserved. ...or in the case of the 318, neglected It's a shame nothing was done to look after DLA1

WVL 1, from SW, or 1 of the 06plate Wvl 212 to 273 batch. Stick with WVL1, it's a good bus unlike the boring 06 reg WVL's

I would like to have: A Mk1 MCW Metrobus, a euro 3 TP from Metroline, a TPL from Metroline, a X/Y/51 reg VPL from Metroline, a V/W reg PVL from Go-Ahead London, a euro 3 PDL from London General and a 52 reg VA from London United. I agree on the PVL Front. Why PVL24? I strangely would have quite liked PVL21 though she soldiers on in some ridiculous livery elsewhere these days. One of the old Harris Bus Optare buses for the 132. While we are here, anybody remember the blue Optare Solos that Crystals had - made an occasional appearance on the B14?

PVL24, because I like the number 24, I live Volvo B7TL's and I had one white knuckle ride on it not too long ago in a place near Spennymoor

Would love to own this bus, former Stockwell's PDL9 (though PDL10 was the best performer of their thirteen X reg examples) bit.ly/HVrBOm
