What is First Group DM are going to do with the Double Deckers they got left since Blue Triangle wont take them? Are they going to use the old buses on the existing FLN DM routes like the 498? As what the contract says it needs new buses to run the route? I do like to have a mixture between the old and new.

What contact for the 498 says it needs new buses, DM have thrown everything and anything out on the route bar a DMV, DMS and DM My guess is it will just be some old B7TL's from somewhere in the ever expanding Go-Ahead Group

Or the route will run with B7TL's with stairs in the middle of the bus?

BE is a lot bigger than people think - don't forget that in the Blue Triangle days, the operational fleet & Roger Wrights extensive heritage fleet were stored there.

Don't care what buses they use, as long as the seats are OK.

The good old days of Blue Triangle ! i'm not saying there not a good company now they were just my favorite bus company , its a shame there's only one independent bus company left in London now .. What is going to happen to the actual depot then at Dagenham is the lease going back or is First Essex going to use the premises ? And i suppose it would make sense for some of the 425's Scanias to go to BE for the 498 and the school routes .

So it means a mixture of old and new buses allowed onto the route. But when First London finally closes down, what will they do with the remaining double deckers they got? They should send the E400's to Blue Triangle whilst the old ones can go to Ensignbus or to First Essex for the operations.

It has already been stated that Go Ahead will be using their Own Double deckers. Go Ahead do not have to take own those vehicles if they don't want to. If they have their own Surplus ones they want to use it is their choice. The DMVs and DMSs are being taken on as they have no other Single deckers surplus, however I won't be surprised if the 51 Plate DML41428-41431 are replaced with Standard LDPs redundant from Route 219, but we have to wait and see. My assumption is the DMVs & DMSs will follow on the NP fleet sequence and become SEN30-38 and the DMSs DMN2-13.

The 20 is already scheduled to transfer to Northumberland park from the 22nd June. There's an official notice in the garage. As for the others its just speculation at garage level but the 167 and w19 could be going there as well and the 300 or 376 back to docklands. That's not the answer I'm looking for. I'm waiting for official information. Also if the 167 & W19 moved to NP it would remove the fleet that can also do the 462 and EDs from the W19 are common on the Route.
