Volvo 9053 reported with white blinds Finally, we can see a B7TL on 172 9059 was on route last Friday, presumably with the new blinds. 9034 and 9039 also now have white blinds.

Yesterday, SO1 on the 541 and today on the 474 with white blinds. Another SO has them too, seen it twice but not managed to identify which one

On an semi-related topic, why does Go Ahead have the extra school journeys on the 150? It's double decked and surely Arriva could just stick another bus onto it?

It's one of those odd cases where they tender a SDO journey separately to the main route - the 405 and 463 have a similar arrangement I think. The 405 does - Arriva run the SDO journey using a DW but the main route is run by Metrobus. The 463's SDO is within the 463's contract and thus is run by Quality Line. They use a DD from the 406/418.

IIRC DD13 was ordered for the 463s DD journey. I thought DD13 was ordered as an extra spare to the other 12 DD's? I think so, but QL mix and match them (they're all look identical apart from the engine and the layout of the iBus, the 07-reg have the large 'stopping' signs yet they have one of those extra grab rail bits with the iBus on them) 463s SDO journey is operated by QL and the main route uses Solos though, so if the route has capacity issues and can fit a double decker on it, so why don't they use 10.2m Darts/E200s or 10.4m Versas on it?

SEN 27 (NP) white on black blinds showing 491 Well, that's good at least NP have decided to re-blind some of their buses whereas BE has not, but then money is involved.... They've fitted new blinds onto life-expired B7TLs but not fairly new E200s/E400s?

They've fitted new blinds onto life-expired B7TLs but not fairly new E200s/E400s? It's very expensive (quite a few hundred pounds) to update blinds on the power driven units and therefore are unlikely to be updated unless absolutely necessary. I assume the B7TLs are manual wind, their blinds costing a lot less to refit.
