The larger shock on my own eyes when I actually see it pulling out of the bus stop at Treaty Centre, Hounslow. And just missing it! Oh. Unlike you I managed to get it...Not to keen on the blind layout as from a distance the County Court qualifier stands out a lot more. It is a nice little nippy bus though but lacks the seats needed for a route like the 235. Many drivers on the E2/8 were staring as it was driving past eying it up and a group of girls from the local school started posing for pics with the bus!! haha My picture of MBK1 can be seen here Looks great! I hope they roll out this LED tech soon

The LED layout doesn't seem right. I wonder the layout with the created "North Brentford Quarter" destination - how tight will it be? I'm going to plan to get it as many times as possible, I go to school 10mins from the 235 Brentford terminus (I'm not the only one that does though...)

Photos on the X1 blog. I do actually think that more comprehensive and bright display could work in London.

I like that layout, to be honest!

I was hoping that the bus would have been used on the P5 so as to see how it would have displayed 'Elephant & Castle'.

It now seems to have changed its ID - it's now XMS1 with Abellio and is whizzing about on the 290. Seems Abellio are allowing the bus to have some "wanderlust" compared to its rigid allocation with London Central.

I don't think it was on the 290. 7 buses were showing up on the LVF which could suggest it was a route test.

Serverking, you live in Hounslow now? Fed up of the post code wars in N17/ N22! still in exile in Wood Green (slightly better in that Haringey Council will remove an abandoned mattress from the pavement in under two working days compared to the regular 10 in Tottenham), I'm waiting for Hounslow Council to process my Visa application for residency in Brentford in the New Year so my obs will be more of 195's and 237s and E8's, lol, though in my job I can be in any part of London, and still look after North East London and Essex... I'll have to get the Mrs an MP3 recording of police vans and random arguments in the street, so she can get off to sleep once we're in West London

Could do, but can your pavements guarantee abandoned fridges / wardrobes / bags of builders rubble in the quantities I can currently get in my borough? #betterharingeyLooking forward to moving in some ways (back to civilization), but finding a good black barber is like hen's teeth unless I head to Hammersmith / Shepherds Bush IIRC (it's been 15 years in exile here)... Still, back on topic, it's good to see the bus out and about, now on the 290... pls 112 next...
