From the October LOTS TLB that has just landed on my doormat. Edited highlights (not everything that is listed!!) Credit for info to LOTS.
2 November
10 - reduced M-S peak and off peak frequency. Will be x8 65 - increased M-S peak and off peak frequency to x6.5. Uses 2 buses spare from route 10. 66 - Sunday and evenings increased to x20 plus extra M-F peak jnys. About time too! 72 - extra M-F peak jnys 93 - the long anticipated frequency increase 154 - the already publicised evening, Sunday and "night" improvements.
9 November
347 - to be cut back to Harold Wood and diverted to Harold Wood Polytechnic. Obviously not a busy or frequent route but I am a bit surprised it's being chopped given nothing major will be saved by doing so. It'll still need 1 bus although the mileage will be less. 965 - withdrawn
30 November
235 - Great West Quarter extension starts 255 - Balham extension starts S1 - frequency improvements but *not* the Lavender Fields extension which is "in abeyance".
Interesting to see a few more extensions coming to fruition and a continuation of the trading down of Central London peak frequencies. I am surprised to see the 10 cut as it is often very busy indeed - more at the western end of the route than the KX end.

I struggle to see the 347 cut back being justified if it still needs 1 bus. Most passengers use it to and from Romford and journeys I've seen leave with at least 10 people on board.

WHY MORE SP'S ON THE BUS I HAVE TO GET EVERY DAY? ;(;(;( I wish LU would lose the 65 A.S.A.P, or put something better on it SPs are allocated to the 65 and just because you don't like a certain bus that it uses doesn't mean they should lose the route . And what's with the shouting?

And what's with the shouting? I know I don't like SPs that much either (someone decided to turn the rearmost seat of my beloved SP103 into a bed this morning ) despite there being two TAs on the route at the time. TA/TLAs are almost an everyday occurrence on the 65/71, and an SLE pops onto both routes from time to time. Right now there are two TAs on 71 and FOUR on the 65!

They seem to have missed out the withdrawal of the 4 journeys on the 387 between Barking Reach (Mallards Road) and Creekmouth (Trafalgar Business Centre). Last ones run on Friday 25 October. Or was the list meant to be those for next month, and this one had been included in the September edition?

Or was the list meant to be those for next month, and this one had been included in the September edition? No - I said very clearly that my post was a subset of the LOTS info. It is largely the stuff that was new to me or otherwise previously undated. The 387 change is still scheduled for next week and is in TLB. I have prompted Mr Munster of London Bus Routes as he hasn't had the 387 change up on the site for a couple of weeks but I'm sure it was there in the past! I thought people would be interested in things like the 10, 65, 66 and 347 changes as they're brand new and not previously discussed. It is not really on for anyone to just simply copy stuff wholesale from LOTS hence why I was selective.

Oops, missed that bit out in the first post thanks for clarifying though, and good choice of changes included as well!

WHY MORE SP'S ON THE BUS I HAVE TO GET EVERY DAY? ;(;(;( I wish LU would lose the 65 A.S.A.P, or put something better on it . The situation with the 65 is that there are regularly upto 4 TAs due to a lack of SPs at FW. Yes the frequency is increasing to 6.5 mins in Nov but don't expect V to transfer two SPs as it is losing all its VLEs to TV so won't have any spares (except LTs which aren't to be used) for 10 and 27 I am now more convinced that there is a high chance the 49 will be 100% new to allow extra SPs to FW when tender results announced.

Sorry if I've missed something but why are VLE's from the 9 going to TV? Could be for fleet upgrading the 57 Indeed, it's to replace the 57's TA's which in turn will oust the remaining VA's & VP's.
