Apparently the 139 was tested and failed with a particular turn into Golders Green Bus Station. I'm not sure about the 112 (also wondering if the blindsets are from a standard decker as it's reported to be older rolls). Photo credit to Patrick Skehan Double deckers on the 112 would be good, don’t care what type! No longer possible since the 112 was rerouted via Madeley Road.

I wonder if low frequency routes such as the 231 & 317 could gain LTs considering they have TVRs of 6-8 and the VWs from the 231 could be redeployed to ON to the 204 to release TEs to replace TE9/TE15s

Which Metroline LT route would you make cuts to?

What routes other then current have been tested for NBFL? Apparently the 139 was tested and failed with a particular turn into Golders Green Bus Station. Photo credit to Patrick Skehan Like others said the 112 now wouldn't work due to trees at Madeley Road, I really don't know why that consultation went ahead for the 112 anyways. But any who felt like it's old route could of worked as it's just mainly the North Circular and the part of Ealing it served previously was with other DD routes if I remember correctly?

Yeah, I think it could have done it, but I think that the blindset is ripped out of a regular DD, E400MMC blindsets can fit into NRM's, this was evidenced a few months ago at RR, I believe, 101 and a few others were on it.

Pretty much all the remaining TE's left are likely Euro VI upgraded anyway.

Other than with tenders, very few have swapped operators

When Stagecoach take over the 180 next October, I'd like to see NRMs for the part allocation of existing hybrids. No doubt I'll be disappointed however.

Most unlikely I would have thought as Stagecoach Selkent don't have any LTs and presumably they'll have some surplus hybrids from within their existing fleet? The 321 perhaps?

I know a lot of people complain about NRMs, but personally I find them very comfortable and the seating layout is nice for families. If only that third door would open once more.... Sadly I share your pessimism, as Stagecoach might already have the spare hybrids by the time the 180 contract starts.

The third door does still open for people getting off......I agree that they are comfortable buses.
