Just a thought will these horrid buses be scrapped ones everything goes Electric? I know that they have no life further on.
Maybe they will explore more options to convert them to full Electric. They are already Hybrid so it should not be to complex.
Anyway I can see the 257 converting next.

I dount they will convert and I doubt they will live on due to having 3 doors and a fairly low capacity for the 11+m long vehicle. With potentially them all having to be gone by 2030 we may see a few new 5contracts beginning in 2025 and possibly even a squeeze of 3 more years for the 2026 contracts.

It’s not as simple as “they are already hybrid so should not be too complex” it still would cost a fair amount to do and given LT11’s less than stellar record in service thus far, I can’t see that option being explored especially when more superior new vehicles exist. Most will probably be scrapped but I suspect a small number will survive performing certain niches outside of TfL’s control

Route 5 needs to finish its full conversion, think the 176 needs a top up of buses, there is also the 17 which is a mixed allocation. My money is on the SL routes taking the bulk of the spares but will happily be proven wrong.

At some stage speculation will shift to which route/s will be the last one operating LTs, last LT out etc ….

What's happening to the ex 168 LTs? Probably being saved for the 9 in January Then what will happen to do the LTs currently on the 9? Why won’t the LTs on the 9 go with it to Metroline?

32 has entirely LTs today according to LVF. First day I'm aware of this happening. 16 and 189 also have full LT allocation.

I assume not but as pointed out they are TfL's buses and they might have plans for those or the 168 batch of buses that are currently "Missing"

If so, it would become the first LT route to serve the boroughs of Bexley and Bromley,
