The N381 I got on was basically empty from Canada Water all the way to Whitehall. I was actually very surprised because that was the first time I had gone on the route and I didn't know what it was like and the first time I go on it, I basically have the whole bus to myself. Even when the bus arrived it was empty, a few people got off and then the bus basically became a Whitehall express from Canada Water

Did loads of routes going all over the place today.
43 - started off with BDE2632, my first BDE. Absolutely amazing buses, so quiet and still had the new bus smell. I’m pretty sure an extra effort has been made with these buses to reduce bodywork noise because of the quietness of the engine, as these buses were absolutely silent when going on, even over bumps. Why that same effort couldn’t have been made on the conventional buses I don’t know but there you go.
41 - End to end on DW470. Didn’t take long as it’s quite a short route, there was a diversion in the Philip Road area.
230 - quick dash over to Turnpike Lane from Tottenham Bus Station
329 - End to end again, and just my luck I got one of the 340’s SWs, SW9. Quite simply, an absolute heap. Slow, jerky, rattly, just awful. The 329 itself though is quite a nice route, especially at the Enfield end.
W8 - from Enfield town centre to Edmonton Green Bus Station
349 - Edmonton Green down to the end of the line at Tottenham Town hall followed by a brisk walk down to Seven Sisters Station. I could have sworn the route terminated at Stamford Hill, turns out after looking it up it’s temporarily curtailed. Thought I was going doolally!
Tube from Seven Sisters from Waterloo followed by a South West train to Wimbledon.
131 - usually my favourite route to travel on but really not today, the route is a wreck at the moment. There’s a diversion between Wimbledon Station and Raynes Park via the 200, and temporary traffic lights at Kingsmeadow. It took nearly half an hour to get through the queue because of the temporary traffic lights which meant the route was in tatters and there were curtailments galore, not a fun one.
481 - from Kingston to Twickenham Tesco. The journey was painful, the driver was crawling along to make sure he didn’t run early, very unusual for an Abellio route.
H20 - End to end. Really enjoyed this little route, the driver was so friendly and chatty and was telling me about how this had been his regular route since 2000. Much more thrashy this journey, really enjoyable.
81 - just a few stops to tick it off. Now just the 80 which is the last route under 100 I’ver never taken.
203 - to Hatton Cross. First time on one of the AV Citaros and I have to say I don’t know what everyone’s been talking about regarding their supposed sluggishness. These bus was exactly like the 227’s to me, loads and loads of power with brilliant acceleration, despite in usual 203 fashion the bus being absolutely packed rafters. Either these have now been fixed up or I had the good one of the batch (MCL30302 BD11LWO). Either way, brilliant bus and handled the heavy load incredibly well.
490 - from Hatton Cross back to Twickenham, on a horrid 08-reg E200. Unbelievably these buses didn’t rattle as much as a lot of newer classic E200’s, but the interior was worn out and doesn’t look nice at all, red seat handles with NX grey spotted moquette doesn’t look good at all.
281 - from Twickenham back to Kingston on a very fast and comfortable SP. Love the amount of padding RATP have put in the padding when they got refurbished, was very much needed.

E3 to Acton Old Town Hall 607 to Acton Central - Countdown wasn't showing any 70's for over twenty minutes so I decided to get on the 607, it was only once I took my seat on the upper deck I saw a BE behind so bailed at the next stop 70 to Ladbroke Grove 316 to Banister Road - DE1143 with the friendly bus driver who featured in that BBC London article a while ago Walk to Kensal Rise 452 to Vauxhall - Pretty good route, although it is ruined by the sluggish VNs, I wish I'd done this route when it was still at Abellio 156 to Wimbledon - A very average, unremarkable route 93 to Morden 154 to West Croydon - When you have a driver who trashes a DOE they're great buses to ride, the 154 is a pretty good route 60 to Park Street 197 to Peckham - I wanted to do this route before it goes to GAL, a decent route. I was hoping to get a classic DW but there weren't anywhere near so I settled for a T, still, better than a DW 171 to Elephant and Castle - The first NX WHV I've ever used. I really don't like NX's G3S, I know lots of B5LH's have jerky gear changes but this WHV was particularly bad. I'm glad that GAL are ordering more EHs 148 to Wesminster Met a friend 211 to Victoria 148 to Shepherd's Bush 607 to Ealing Broadway E2 home

I really enjoy the section between Vaxuhall and Wandsworth but for me its the dour section between Wandsworth and Wimbledon which lets the route down. I do agree with you Nine Elms Lane is interesting. I think if I'd started at Wimbledon, then this route would have left a better impression on me. I did get a 56-reg thankfully, after dreading a horribly slow journey on an Enviro 400

I get these routes a lot because they are useful but there is nothing interesting about the route also it's not like drivers can pick up any speed as well.

You can pick up speed along Wandsworth Road particularly as a lot of it contains bus lanes. Lavender Hill unfortunately isn't so great due to Wandsworth's idiotic decision to put speed humps on a main road.

Probably just the time I normally get the route, I have got the 87 before in the late evening and was very quick. Still think for me they are still really boring but obviously the most important thing is to get people from A to B not how interesting the route is along the way

Nothing special today but just a few obs
115 - Usual EH
25 - First time I have used the route on a weekday since it was cut back, actually really please to see the route is still really busy outside of weekends! Changed at City Thames Link and spotted several people already waiting with a 3 minute wait for the 8. One arrive as per usual rammed solid! I couldn't face a packed bus so was please when I remembered the 521 runs Monday to Friday, I really do worry just how the 8 will cope when the new boarding trial starts.
521 - City Thames Link to Holborn, this is my first time using a electric bus in London! really smooth and actually and the SEe's have more engine noise than I expected.

walk from the upper richmond road to Mortlake bus garage 209 to castelnau, walk over Hammersmith bridge. 72 to Shepherds bus green a very friendly bus driver on this route 94 to New Bond Street bus was full from shepherds all the way to bond street. To this day I still don't know why the 94 got a PVR cut. 139 originally was going to waterloo but got turned to Aldwych so got off at Trafalgar square. Only one other person upstairs on the journey. 176 to Elephant and Castle, I was lucky another to get a WHV on the route, the bus started it's journey at Trafalgar square. Northern line to London Bridge for work Jubilee line to green park 22 to Putney Bridge 378 to Mortlake bus garage
