Crack of Dawn 262 WH31126 from Beckton DLR Depot to Plaistow for the District Line - intending to spend an hour at Victoria photographing WSD's on the 44 (I know, I know) before heading to Waterloo and home. Big mistake .............. never ever rely on the District Line for anything ........... except delays and slowness perhaps

MHV32 - route 63 - Elephant - Southwark Station, will miss the Evoseti buses when it passes to Abellio, although I'm looking forward for the first Double decker electric batch of buses for Abellio. Realising the change is coming soon - Couldn't resist a little dabble in Route 63 today on the way to work - didn't see 32 but here's MHV33 in Blackfriars Bridge Road just outside one of my former BR workplaces at Friars Bridge Court ........................ Perversely also managed a photo of MHV63 on the parallel Route 40 .............. Attachment Deleted

More of a train journey but there was one bus route in today's journey.
Purpose of journey: to ride to every station on the DLR
Central line Ruislip Gardens - Bank District line Monument - Tower Hill DLR Tower Gateway - Beckton 474 Beckton station - North Woolwich Police station DLR King George V - Woolwich Arsenal DLR Woolwich Arsenal - Stratford International DLR Stratford International - Stratford DLR Stratford - Canary Wharf DLR Canary Wharf - Lewisham DLR Lewisham - Bank Central line Bank - Ruislip Gardens
In order to avoid being charged two maximum fares for staying on the train too long, I tapped out at Lewisham, even though I tapped in at King George V.

At least three WHs haven't been seen in over two weeks now so I would imagine the VNs may be frequent sightings until they return.

I know a few DNs are on loan to RAPT so this still might happen if the DNs ever return to LI.

Few passengers, empty roads ahead, perfect. Canโt get the same out of a WH Same goes for the Scanias, mind youโฆ.

So I've decided to try to go on every bus type currently operating in London that I haven't been on already. (I've been on all the common types so your Enviro 200 and 400s, Evosetis, Gemini 2 and 3s and so on). So far I've done the OMEs at Metroline, the Caetenos at Abellio, the MECs for the 108 and 358, the DOEs at GAL and today the VHPs. So this is the journey I did today:
Short walk from house to Wood Green Station Piccadilly Line- Wood Green to Leicester Square Northern Line- Leicester Square to Clapham Common VHP2 on the 37- Clapham Common Station to Peckham Bus Station (only had to wait 2 minutes for it lucky me ๐๐๐๐). Nice bus wish the LTs had the Volvo engines would be nice for routes like the 313 on the 50mph stretch before Potters Bar. Short walk to Queens Road Peckham (the 37 completely missed out Peckham Rye Station) Overground- Queens Road Peckham to Clapham Junction Overground- Clapham Junction to Highbury and Islington Victoria Line- Highbury and Islington to Finsbury Park Piccadilly Line- Finsbury Park to Wood Green Walk from Wood Green to home. Overall good day out as always only sore note is that I now have -0.65p because I didn't touch the pink reader at Clapham Junction but hey mistakes happen.
Next week it's the E400H City's on the 20. Should be a nice one if the weather stays nice

Should be a nice one if the weather stays nice I'm not sure what happened to my journey because my journey from West Croydon to Ruislip Gardens via Clapham Junction and Shepherd's Bush cost ยฃ1.50 (I'm on a 16-18 travel card), I'm sure it should have cost ยฃ0.85, just like my journey from Ruislip Gardens to Wimbledon via Shepherd's Bush and Clapham Junction. Both were off peak. I was also in for a shock when I couldn't tap in at West Croydon because I tapped in at Elmers End National Rail and not the trams, therefore I didn't tap out, losing ยฃ2.90 in the process, and ending up with 40p at West Croydon

When switching to the NLL at Clapham Junction I forgot to touch the pink reader so when I touched in at Highbury and Islington it must've thought that I went through the ELL which goes through Z1 instead of the NLL which doesn't enter Z1. P.S pretty funny story that. We all make mistakes when out on the travels

Rode the 188 from Greenwich to North Greenwich today. Very friendly driver who greeted my granddaughter. The journey would have taken half the time if some idiot hadnโt taken half the road for a totally unused bike lane!
